About This Pub
Ah, Himley House – it's one of those classic country pubs that just wraps you up in its welcoming arms from the get-go. Nestled in the village of Himley, this Grade II listed gem has a real sense of history, once part of a grand Georgian estate, and it's got that perfect mix of cosy indoors and lovely outdoor spaces for when the weather plays ball. The food's a real highlight; you'll find quality pub favourites and seasonal specials that are packed with flavour, and the drinks menu doesn't disappoint either, with everything from zesty cocktails to their new Golden Nectar ale that's not only tasty but also supports wildlife conservation – what's not to love? On the brighter side, the team are absolute stars, always polite and attentive, making every visit feel special. But, let's be honest, it does have its off moments; pop in on a busy Saturday and you might find things running a bit behind, with the staff looking stretched and the wait for your meal stretching out. Still, if you time it right, it's a fabulous spot for a relaxed meal or a catch-up over pints, and I'd say it's well worth a visit for anyone looking for that authentic pub experience with a bit of extra flair.

From entering the staff make you feel so welcome. All staff on that afternoon were really friendly and polite. Beautiful Saturday afternoon sitting outside. It's such a lovely place inside and out on the patio. Our meal was nice. Definitely would go back
Went for Mother’s Day meal, 4 of us. The food was great, nothing to fault with this. It was classic pub food with a slight modern twist. The food came out quickly enough for a Saturday evening, as it was packed and every table was full. The staff were a bit dazed, looked like they were overworked but lovely and helpful regardless. The atmosphere was loud but it’s a restaurant/pub so that was good. Recommend the steak, it was beautiful and cooked so well. I would go back again but in the summer to sit outside and drink cocktails as they have a lovely outside area!!
Very nice staff. Service was a little delayed as it was extremely busy. Staff came over and explained that it may be a half an hour wait and asked if we would be ok with that. Lovely waitress and meal was beautiful Parking plentiful.
Once again, we spent a nice time in this place. The interior is tastefully decorated, very pleasant before the renovation and now. The service was very nice, we felt very taken care of. Special thanks to Dani, Tarnya and Zack. You are wonderful👍
The food is tasty and served quite quickly, although in our opinion it needs more seasoning. Bread should be fresher.
But the overall impressions are very positive. I highly recommend it to everyone👍
This is a really nice place for a meal. The menu is smaller than it used to be and they didn't have any specials on when I went last, but the food is always nice. The cocktails and mocktails are nice and they have a good variety drinks.
I had steak and ale pie for main which was very nice and there was lots of food. The apple tart for pudding was clearly microwaved which is a shame because it made the pastry soggy, but it was still tasty.
The car park is bigger than it seems with some at the front and then lots more at the back through the barrier.
