About This Pub
You know, when I think about Harvies in Paisley, it's one of those pubs that really stands out for its community feel and all-round charm. The staff are an absolute delight – always greeting you with a smile and making the place feel like a proper local hangout. Their drink menu is brilliant, offering everything from a classic pint to more adventurous cocktails, and it's great to see options for those wanting something lighter. The food doesn't disappoint either; think hearty pub favourites that leave you satisfied, and it's spot on for families or just popping in for a casual bite. It's especially handy if you're into sports, with all those TV channels showing the big matches. On the downside, though, I've heard from a few folks that the bar service can be a bit hit-and-miss, particularly since the new management stepped in – queues can drag on, and it might not be as smooth as you'd hope, leading to some frustration on busier nights. Overall, with such a strong rating, it's still a top spot worth trying, but maybe plan for a quieter time if you're after seamless service. What do you reckon – fancy giving it a go next time we're out?

Loads of TV sports options like Sky Sports and TNT Sports make it a great place to catch the game without missing a beat.
Cons
-
Service at the bar can be a bit slow and disorganised at times, especially when it's busy, which might leave you waiting longer than you'd like.
-
It's a tad pricey for some, so you might want to check your budget before heading in.
-
There have been a few grumbles about inconsistent service since the new team took over, with issues like not keeping an eye on the queue.

Great night, really friendly staff
Great pub. Everyone should do their best to support the best pub in paisley's east end. Cracking place x
So much better than the other options locally.
Dined here once around midday. Their fish and chips and dessert was decent and I enjoyed the vibe. Would go again!
Friendly staff. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Good selection of beers, lagers etc. Wee bit pricey though.
Since the new licencees have taken over, the service is dire. Takes forever to get served at the bar and they don't bother to check who is next to be served. Customers are walking out. They just serve whoever is standing in front of them. They seem very lazy. They make no eye contact with customers, hardly ever collect glasses and the floor was soaking wet with just a sign to say so, but no attempt to dry it off. The regular staff that are still working here are so hard working, but they are carrying the new regime. As a regular customer for years along with many friends, we are gutted that our local has sunk so low. Along with many others locals, we will be taking our custom elsewhere.
