About This Pub
Oh, let me tell you about Harbinger Arms – it's one of those pubs that just hits the spot for a good night out or a family meal. From what I've gathered from the reviews, the food is a real standout; that carvery sounds like a winner, with folks raving about how tasty and fresh everything is, leaving you feeling well chuffed. The staff are absolute stars too, always ready with a smile and happy to accommodate last-minute groups or special occasions, which makes it feel like a proper community hub. It's got that cosy, local vibe that's just inviting, perfect for unwinding over drinks or a bite. On the flip side, it's a bit of a mystery with no website or clear operating hours listed, and word is it might be closed at the moment, which is a shame because you'd hate to turn up and find the doors shut. Still, if you can catch it on a good day, it's well worth the trip for some top-notch grub and service that leaves you wanting to come back for more. All in all, it's a solid choice for anyone in Bridlington looking for a reliable spot, but do your homework first to avoid any disappointments.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The food is absolutely spot on, especially that Sunday carvery – it's delicious and feels like a proper home-cooked treat.
-
Staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming; they'll go out of their way to make you feel at home, even for big groups.
-
It's got a lovely, pleasant atmosphere that's perfect for a relaxed meal or a catch-up with mates.
-
Great value for money, with excellent portions and prices that leave you satisfied without breaking the bank.
Cons
-
The place might be closed or have limited hours right now, which is a bit of a downer if you're planning a visit.
-
Not much of an online presence, so it's tricky to check details like opening times or menus before heading over.
-
With only a handful of reviews out there, it can feel like a hidden gem, but that also means you might not get the full picture on what to expect.

Accommodated 18 of us at the last minute, 9 of which were children. Nothing was too much trouble, we were all left very satisfied, agreeing it was one of the best carvery experiences we'd ever had. The food was absolutely delicious!
Will be coming back the next time we're in Bridlington.
We popped in here for drinks on way home to where we are staying. Wonderful choice of drinks. Good friendly service. Made to feel very welcome. Booked a table for Sunday carvery as it was recommended by people who have stayed where we are staying. The Sunday carvery was absolutely delicious. Worth every penny. Everything very good from large choice of meats, Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, new potatoes and mash and a large range of vegetables and everything was very tasty. Would certainly go back again.
Excellent food at a great price. Pleasant local atmosphere. Wonderful staff.
Enjoyed a friends 80th birthday celebration there today. Great food, excellent service & help trimming up the table area from Tracey. Thank you to all concerned for making it an enjoyable event.
Lovely welcome, very pleasant surroundings and a very, very good meal, everything cooked fresh and homemade desserts. Always a plus point for us. Our waitress was excellent and very helpful. We wanted to eat there a second night but didn't have time before going to the concert we'd booked. Highly recommend if you are in Bridlington.
