I live directly across the street from The Golden Fleece and for almost a year, I’ve endured intolerable noise — loud music, screaming, shouting — often lasting deep into the night. It’s not occasional; it’s systemic. This is not about one pub. It’s about a disturbing trend where business interests seem to outweigh human rights — and where local authorities turn a blind eye to the basic well-being of residents. Why is the comfort of paying customers more important than the health of the people who live here every single day? The Golden Fleece may be profitable, but it is doing so at the expense of the surrounding community’s mental health and quality of life. This is not sustainable, and it is not fair. Living in the city shouldn’t mean losing your right to peace. I urge Chelmsford City Council to take real action before the streets become nothing more than playgrounds for noise and profit.

Best bottomless brunch I've been too. Drinks were constantly flowing non stop. Once one drink was delivered the order for the next one was taken. There was 30 of us as well so they had their work cut out! Amazing service from Daisy and Leonie. Highly recommend!
