About This Pub
Oh, Gaietys in Blackpool – it's one of those places that really gets the heart going for a singalong and a good laugh. From what I've gathered from chats with others who've been, the vibe is electric, especially with those fantastic karaoke sessions and live entertainers that keep things lively and fun. It's spot on for special occasions or just popping in with mates for a memorable evening; the team there are always up for making sure you're having a whale of a time, and the drinks won't set you back too much, which is always a bonus. But, let's be straight, it's not all smooth sailing – there've been a few tales of dodgy drinks that could spoil the fun, and the facilities like the toilets could do with a bit of sprucing up to match the energy of the place. Plus, with it only opening on select days, you might find yourself waiting for the right time to head over. All in all, it's a solid pick if you're in the mood for some belting entertainment and a warm welcome, just keep in mind those little hiccups to manage your expectations and have a top night.

Lovely place music was very loud. But good times had.
This is the place to go what a atmosphere and all the staff are very welcoming a amazing night
The first time I went Gaietys I couldn't fault it. The atmosphere was great, lager was on point and got up on the karaoke with my brother whilst my mates plugged their ears. Not a bad night!
I decided to do sober October though, and still am doing, for my own personal reasons. But the barmaid who was on (13/10/24), (blonde), took it on herself to be rude and have a poor attitude with me when i ordered a coke. My mate told me she said to slip a vodka in the bottom of it, because I wouldn't know.
If I'm coming in a bar and paying for a drink, I get to choose what I have, and if that's a coke and she can't accept that, don't work in a bar!
We ordered two pints of san Miguel. One was fine and the other was contaminated with some kind of cleaning fluid. We told the staff but they refused to change it.
Avoid this place like the plague!!!!
Stopped off here for a quick drink on the way back to the hotel after watching a show at viva. Was only planning on staying for one but ended up staying for a few hours, brilliant atmosphere, friendly staff and reasonably priced drinks. Toilets in dire need of a refurb and you have to treck up quite a lot of steps to get there but apart from that it's a fun night.
