About This Pub
Ah, District Bar in Harrogate – it's one of those places that just feels like a proper local gem, you know? From what I've gathered, it's all about that community vibe, not trying to be overly flashy or trendy, but just a welcoming spot to unwind with mates over some downtime. The drinks selection is really something special; think cracking cocktails, wines, and beers that folks rave about, and pair that with some delicious light bites like pizzas and nibbles, and you've got a winning combination for a relaxed night. The staff sound like absolute stars, always up for a chat and making sure everyone feels looked after, which adds to the homely feel. On the flip side, it's worth noting that prices can be a bit steep, so if you're watching the pennies, it might not be the most budget-friendly option. Plus, with it being closed on Mondays and potentially feeling a touch cosy for bigger groups, you might need to plan around that. All in all, if you're after a solid spot for a catch-up or even booking a free space for a get-together, I'd say give it a go – it's got that balance of good times and a few quirks that make it feel real.

It's brilliant for booking events; you can reserve the space for free for up to 50 people, ideal for a special night out.
Cons
-
It can be a bit pricey, which is par for the course in Harrogate, so it might stretch the budget if you're planning a big night.

They're closed on Mondays, which could throw a spanner in the works if that's your only free evening.
-
The place might feel a tad snug, especially if you're with a larger group, as it looks small from the outside.

Nice local wine bar, but a bit pricey in real Harrogate style.
Lovely relaxed atmosphere with great food and drink. Beautiful cocktails, wine and beers.
Great night, good pizza, great drink. Sensible prices. Will be going back next time I am in Harrogate.
A must visit! I went with a couple of friends for a few casual beers and something to eat. The mushroom and truffle oil pizza was delicious, washed down with a couple of European lagers. Great staff who clearly love their job and the owners are very welcoming. Perfectly done 👌
Didn't know what to expect from this place with it looking small and with covid 19 reducing the capacity etc, but once we got inside we thought it was excellent. The place was lively and had a great atmosphere. This little place has a bit of character and surpassed all our expectations. Nice lighting and there's another room out the back with more tables and chairs. Outdoor seating too.
