About This Pub
So, chatting about DG Bar in Wembley, it's got that wine bar vibe going on, tucked away in a straightforward spot on The Broadway. From what I've seen, it's open late most nights, which is brilliant if you're after a relaxed place to catch up with mates without rushing off early. That said, the food side of things hasn't been winning many fans – reviews are pretty unanimous about the suya and other dishes being dry, flavourless, and not worth the money, with some saying it's like a disappointing takeaway that goes straight in the rubbish. It's a shame because the idea of mixing wines with those flavours sounds ace, but it seems like execution is letting it down. If you're just popping in for a drink, it could be alright, but I'd recommend skipping the food for now and maybe checking it out on a quiet night to see for yourself. All in all, it's got potential, but based on the buzz, it needs a bit of sorting to really shine.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
It's open seven days a week with late hours, making it a handy spot for a casual evening out or a cheeky drink after work.
-
Conveniently located in Wembley, which could be perfect if you're in the area and fancy a quick stop-off.
Cons
-
The food quality has been a real letdown, with complaints about dry and tasteless dishes like suya and jollof rice that don't live up to expectations.
-
Prices seem steep for what you get, as folks have mentioned paying a fair bit for portions that end up in the bin.
-
The overall rating is a bit underwhelming at 2.8 out of 5, suggesting it's not consistently hitting the mark for a satisfying visit.

Honestly I am so disappointed and angry. Why is the suya so dry and the beef isn’t fresh. It’s obvious that you just microwaved the suya and sent it. The chicken suya is so dry and also the same thing, you microwaved it. How can I pay £12 for 5 pieces of suya, and the suya is dry as hell. Like why would someone do this. Seeing even the bad reviews and still you don’t want to change. Why are you so heartless and wasting people’s money. Later it will be that Africans don’t support one another.
I have no words for what was just delivered to my door! Absolutely atrocious! The only thing that was edible was the canned drinks which we got for free, probably because the containers looked like food was missing. Spent approx £55 and it all went in the bin!
6 pieces of soaky beef suya for £12?? By the way, did you soak the pieces of meat in water cos the container is full of water I had to put them in the bin. Do better next time please
I like the other reviews that wrote “ remember before you order there is rice at home”. She/he is correct. I have never eaten rubbish food like this. Please don’t waste your money use that money to buy chicken or beef and cook. Trust me you can cook better than them.
I hate to leave negative reviews, but... The Suya was so hard and tasteless, it was like doing a bush tucker trial, plain rice has more flavour than the Jollof rice. The wings were hard and sub par. Before you order, remember there is rice at home. I am only leaving this review as major improvements is needed.
