About This Pub
Ah, the Crown Inn – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local gem in Beeston, you know? From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, folks absolutely rave about the beer selection; there's always a great mix of cask and keg options served up in prime condition, and it's not just about the drinks – they've got some cracking food like those ham salad rolls that sound spot on for a quick bite. The staff really shine too, being super friendly and making sure everyone feels welcome, which adds to that warm, cosy traditional feel inside. Plus, the outdoor area is a winner, especially when the sun's out and it's packed with people enjoying the vibe. They keep things entertaining with quizzes and events, which is a nice touch for a night out. On the flip side, it does get busy, and that can lead to a few headaches, like groups blocking the bar without much intervention from the team, which might spoil the fun for some. Overall, it's a solid choice if you're after a good pint and a chat, but just keep in mind it might not be the most relaxed spot during peak times – still, I'd say it's worth a visit for the positives alone!

-
Even though it's not the cheapest spot, the value's spot on, especially with those tasty options like ham salad rolls that hit the spot.
Cons
-
It can get a bit crowded at times, which might lead to awkward situations like groups hogging the bar and making it hard to get served.
-
The staff don't always step in quickly to sort out any disruptions, which could leave you feeling a tad frustrated.
-
Based on one experience, it's not always the smoothest visit if things get rowdy, so it might not suit everyone every time.

Always good selection of beers. Mixture of keg and cask. Not the cheapest but good value.
Old style pub with enclosed outdoor seating area and a great selection of cask ales served in superb condition. Also one of the best ham salad rolls I've had for ages🍺🥪.
Rude group of blokes completely blocking access to the bar so you couldn’t see what ale is on. Plenty of space for them to sit in a group elsewhere in the pub where they wouldn’t cause any problems for other chatters. The staff didn’t appear to be making any attempt to all them to move to another part of the pub to allow other customers to reach the bar. Very expensive beer too.
Always busy and especially packed in the summer due to the large beer garden. They have to most real ale selection is Beeston to the best of my knowledge. All the staff are friendly and make you feel welcome. They do different things all the time like quizzes and stuff and have some decent prizes. There's loads of little rooms away from the main bar area and the whole place has a traditional real to it. Place I a must visit if your in the area.

Had to try here as their sister pub The Five Lamps in Derby is one of our favourites, this is no exception, Brown Ales Pub Co have done an outstanding job.
Inside it's a traditional, warm and cosy pub, it also has a really nice outside are with lots of seating, most of which is undercover.
Beer choice is excellent with some traditional style cask alongside modern cask and a great craft beer on keg selection.
Staff were friendly and talkative, the pub had a really good atmosphere.
Definitely worth the trip to Beeston, we'll be back.
