About This Pub
Ah, let me tell you about Crown & Cushion – it's one of those pubs that just feels right, you know? Tucked away in West Bromwich near the park, it's a family-run spot in a historic building that gives off that warm, welcoming energy from the moment you step in. The inside is dead cosy with a fireplace that's perfect for winter chats, and they've got a lovely selection of beers, especially that Guinness that's always spot-on after a stroll. The karaoke on Fridays and Saturdays is brilliant fun, getting everyone singing along and having a laugh. On the flip side, it's a bit old-school with no website, so you might struggle to get the lowdown online, and remember to bring cash if you're buying a round under a fiver. The hours can be a bit murky too, so it's best to confirm before you go. All in all, it's a top choice for a laid-back evening, but with a few quirks that keep it feeling authentically pub-like – I'd say it's worth a visit if you're in the area.
Pros and Cons

-
Karaoke nights on Fridays and Saturdays are an absolute blast, starting at 8 PM and getting everyone involved.
-
The pub's in a historic building with nice outdoor seating, ideal for enjoying a drink when the weather's on your side.
Cons
-
There's no website or online presence, so it's a bit of a faff to check opening times or what's on offer before you head out.
-
They don't take card for payments under a fiver, which means you might need to have some cash handy to avoid any hassle.
-
The operating hours can seem a tad confusing with mixed listings, so it's worth double-checking to make sure it's open when you plan to go.
-
Being unclaimed on Google, it might not have the latest updates, which could lead to surprises if things change.

Great little place right by the park. Don’t need to walk any further for a refreshing pint!
Very friendly family run business in historic building .
Nice and cosy inside with fireplace on.
Appreciated by locals and park visitors
We stopped off here for a quick pint after a winter walk through Sandwell Valley and Dartmouth Park.
It was a nice friendly pub with a good selection of beers. The Guinness was especially nice 😋
Lovely well kept pub. Looks charming both outside and inside, which is rare for pubs around here! Very friendly service, and some nice beer on tap. I noticed a sign saying they don't take card payments for under a fiver, so I paid in cash. Nice outdoor seating area albeit a little small.
