We had a table of 6 on the 13th of June for my daughter's 30th birthday. We all ordered our food and waited for our meals to arrive. 5 meals where brought out with out a problem, but mine was delayed. The waitress jokingly said sorry she forgot to cook your meal. But she's doing it now. It won't be long. After waiting another 25 minutes and the waitress came back and laughed and said it will only be a few more minutes. My meal arrive. This is completely unacceptable. I had to sit and wait while my family members were eating there dinner. I have never experienced such bad service in any restaurant before. I use to run pubs and restaurants and would not of tolerate this behavior. First impressions of a pub/restaurant. I will not be returning here again. Very disappointing

Remember how pubs were in the past. That's right. A good atmosphere. Attentive and friendly service. Add to that a good value and well cooked roast dinner. What's not to like.

Attended on Tuesday afternoon, quiet and lots of space. Looked after by Heather who looked after us really well. Thank you. Food was good, tasty and fresh. Lovely pub, great atmosphere.

Quaint pub on a corner in Woodford Green. Lovely conservatory to the rear and outdoor seating too. Thats the good bit. The food was terrible. Sweet potato falafel (3 small pieces) was burnt and it was served with crunchy (certainly not focaccia) bread. The coating on the onion rings was oily and dense - not the light crunchy batter you’d expect. The sweet potato fries were refried and burnt.
