About This Pub
Ah, Cosy Club in Bath – it's one of those places that just draws you in with its warm and inviting feel, tucked away in the SouthGate area. I have to say, the atmosphere is spot on; it's all about that spacious, airy setup with clever lighting and a fabulous balcony that lets you people-watch over the square – ideal for a relaxed catch-up with mates. The food doesn't disappoint either; think scrumptious options like the halloumi with hot honey or a solid chicken salad, all nicely presented and at a fair price, making it a great choice for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. And the staff? They're an absolute delight, always cheerful and attentive, which really adds to the experience. On the downside, though, it's not all perfect – service can drag a bit on busier days like Sundays if you rock up without a booking, and I've heard tales of it feeling a tad rushed at times, which might put a dampener on things. Plus, if the place is packed, you could find yourself outside where it might get a bit nippy, even with those blankets on offer. All in all, it's a solid spot for a good meal and drinks, but I'd recommend booking ahead to sidestep any potential hiccups and make the most of what it does brilliantly.
Pros and Cons

-
The food really hits the spot; dishes like the halloumi and hot honey or chicken salad are delicious, well-presented, and reasonably priced for a spot in the heart of Bath.
-
The staff are brilliant and friendly, always on hand to make you feel welcome and ensure everything runs smoothly.
Cons
-
Service can be a tad slow, especially on Sundays if you haven't booked ahead, which might leave you waiting a bit.
-
There have been times when the service felt a little rushed or not quite up to scratch, based on a few experiences shared.
-
If it's busy, you might end up seated outside, and that can get chilly, even with blankets provided.

We had lunch here. The halloumi & hot honey and chicken salad were great. The goat cheese salad was alright. The waiters were brilliant as usual. I can suggest eating here by enjoying great atmosphere
A really lovely chain option in the heart of Bath.
Cosy Club does it's usual formula of providing an off-street Cafe with relaxing vibes and consistent good quality, with the added bonus of a lovely balcony area overlooking the busy square.
The food was good, well presented, reasonably priced, and with great options for kids.
Coffees were good too, nothing special but reasonably well made.
Highchairs were available, and service was incredibly friendly.
Nice place with yummy food. Service is very slow on a Sunday especially if you have not booked- and might need to eat outside if not booked- though chilly, blankets provided. Really nice ambience inside.
Large spacious cafe bar in the South Gate. Lovely decor and atmosphere with subtle lighting, spacious and airy.
It was early when we went, so it was still quiet, but I am sure it gets very busy at times.
The jug of water and water glasses was a nice touch.
Coffees and breakfast were lovely, well presented, and tasty.
Classic Breakfast at £12.25 was good value and lovely.
Service was friendly and attentive and efficient.
There is an outside terrace, which would be lovely in the summer.
Will pop back again to try lunch or dinner 😁
Popped in to catch up with an old friend. She chose the Cosy Club in the city of Bath as she was a regular there. I gave them another chance, as on the last two occasions they were let down by the service as she was very pushy, rude and rushed even if we were only two tables in the whole place at lunchtime. This visit was much better! We had two bottles of NZ Sauvignon Blanc between the two of us with 4 small plates. We spent almost £100 in total. I wasn't impressed with the starters at all. Very tiny or small as described, the taste was okay with nothing to write home about or returning soon based on food. The service was good this time, we felt relaxed, and they left us enjoying our time! Or perhaps it was in a bar area. All in all, we had a lovely time here with good company! My friend recommended breakfast here.
