About This Pub
Ah, BrewDog Bath – it's one of those places that really hits the spot if you're a fan of craft beer and hearty food. I have to say, the beer lineup is something else; with fresh pours from all over the world and their own brews rotating in, it's a treat to sample a few before committing. Pair that with some seriously good burgers and wings that are packed with flavour – think upgraded smash burgers and a variety of sauces – and you've got a solid meal that leaves you satisfied. The team behind the bar are absolute gems, always ready with a tip or a tale about the drinks, which makes the whole visit feel warm and welcoming. It's spot on for a casual catch-up with friends, especially with those board games on hand to keep things entertaining. On the flip side, though, it can get a bit steep price-wise, and if it's a quiet night, the vibe might not live up to the hype – one mate mentioned it felt a touch underwhelming when the place was half-empty. Still, for what it offers, it's worth a go if you're in Bath and fancy a pint with a bit more character, just keep an eye on your spending and maybe aim for a busier time to soak up that lively atmosphere.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The beer selection is absolutely brilliant, with over 28 taps offering a fantastic range of craft brews from IPAs to sours, and you can even try before you buy – perfect for exploring new favourites.
-
The food is a real highlight; those smash burgers and wings are mouth-watering, with options like tenders and new flavours that keep things exciting, plus they've got something for everyone, including kids' meals and brunch until 4pm on weekends.
-
The staff are top-notch – knowledgeable, engaging, and always up for a chat, making you feel right at home, especially with their recommendations on drinks and food.
-
It's in a super convenient spot, just a minute's walk from Bath Spa Train Station and near the River Avon, so it's easy to pop in after a day out.
-
The atmosphere is lively with great music and a good selection of board games, which adds a fun, relaxed vibe for a night out with mates.
Cons
-
It can feel a bit pricey for what you get, with some meals working out as expensive as other places, which might not feel like the best value if you're on a budget.
-
The atmosphere isn't always buzzing; it can come across as a tad dull or quiet at times, especially if it's not a busy evening, which might dampen the experience.
-
A few folks have found the overall offering just average, with nothing particularly standout beyond the beer, so it might not wow everyone straight away.

Twas a quiet night in May, excellent way to spend an evening, gf coated wings were light and flavoursome, beers were well kept and presented, staff team from bar to kitchen were knowledgeable and engaging. Good selection of board games too.
This pub is amazing!
The staff were fantastic—so attentive and welcoming. We had the Spicy deluxe Burger, and honestly, it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had.
The variety of drinks is unmatched. I especially recommend the Cold Beer Peach if you’re after something light and fruity—fantastic!
I’ll definitely be coming back.
Thank you!
Our favourite go to bar when in Bath, service is wonderful, food is delicious. Beer is great, sooo many options! Take a flight (4 3rds of a pint) so you can try many. I like they let you taste a beer before committing to a whole glass. The atmosphere is brilliant, music is great. They have games! You can chill... relax and enjoy. 100% recommend. Been to several Brewdog bars.. and Bath is the best in my opinion. Well done team Bath.
First visit to a BrewDog (Bath). Loads of selections of lagers and Ales. It's nice that you can try before you buy. Great choice of music on our visit (Friday 28th Feb 8.30pm ish). Our server (a woman) was very knowledgeable about the drinks for sale. We didn't try the food, but the menu looked good and the food we saw being served looked good. Will certainly visit again and also the one in Reading.
Very average and probably not good value. We went for one of their burger deals but all in all it worked out as expensive as going anywhere else of this standard for a burger. Burger was good but nothing to rave home about. The atmosphere is pretty dull and the place was quite empty.
