About This Pub
You know, when I popped into College Bar, it really hit the spot for a proper night out with mates – it's got this brilliant setup for watching live sports, with a massive screen in the middle and even little ones at the tables, so you're never missing the action. The drinks are a highlight too; they've got a cracking range of lagers, ales, and cocktails, and that tank lager is as fresh as it gets, like you're straight at the brewery. It's been around for yonks, over 20 years, and you can feel that welcoming, metropolitan buzz that's just inclusive for everyone. On the flip side, though, the music does crank up a bit on weekends, which can make it hard to chat over a pint, and I've heard a few tales of service being a bit slow or not quite attentive enough – like waiting ages just to get served. Plus, there were mentions of the floor feeling a bit sticky or drinks not being mixed perfectly, which is a shame in an otherwise comfy spot. All in all, it's a solid choice for a good time in Aberdeen, especially if you're up for the games, but it's worth going in with realistic expectations to enjoy the highs and dodge the lows.

Best tennants in the city. Clean, comfortable bar with tv's everywhere.
Music can be (for me) a bit loud at weekends but otherwise superb.
Had a great afternoon/evening. Atmosphere was great, with excellent live entertainment, fabulous voice.
It was a Sunday. About two other people there. And a dog. Floor was tacky. The cocktails were good, and not too expensive, but I thought my Mojito had too much rum.
Beautiful, although I caught my wife cheating on me here. She told me Dinesh was just a friend. She lied.
This place has a lot of potential. Is in a fantastic building and the layout and furniture is pretty good. Negatives - I spent 20 mins trying to get a drink and almost gave up as the bartender appeared to deliberately ignore our existence. The music was brilliant, however could have been turned down say 2 notches so we could speak as well as enjoying it. Overall, nice place but could do with improvements. We left after two pints so we could have a discussion whilst enjoying the football elsewhere.
