Bar staff were very friendly and welcoming, had to wait a while for food but not going to moan about that as food was delicious and cooked just right. My husband had a mixed grill, asked for the steak to be rare, it was bang on! Will definitely visit again, thankyou!
Visited The Claregate today, staff very friendly and helpful didn’t have to wait long for our meal, which was superb we both ordered steak which was perfectly cooked. Highly recommend will definitely be making another visit.
Never booked but they found us a table straight away. The staff were always friendly and helpful. We ordered 2 beefs dinners and a steak, we expected it to take long but it came very quick and was red hot. We all really enjoys our meals and will definitely be back again to try the rest of the menu.
We came in for some food and drinks on a
busy evening and we were not disappointed. The food arrived quickly and tasted fresh. Callum on front of house was honestly what
made our visit. From the minute we arrived,
he greeted us with a smile and asked how
we was. Whilst ordering, he was being super
polite and welcoming. He even remembered
our drink order when we came back later.
Great local pub, filled as an old school pub used to be.
Servers were amazing, with nothing being too much, even with a large party as ours.
Food is as a usual branded pub, cooked to a good standard.
If you're going, try and go when Tash and Ruby are on shift, as you will get the best service going.
