About This Pub
Ah, The Bar With No Name – what a gem in Bridlington! From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, this place really nails that cosy, relaxed feel where you can unwind with a cracking coffee or a hearty toastie. The staff stand out as absolute stars; they're so welcoming and make you feel like you're catching up with old mates, which adds a lovely touch to the whole experience. And it's brilliant for dog lovers, letting you bring your four-legged companion along for the fun. On the flip side, it's a bit of a puzzle trying to get hold of details – no website or phone to check opening times means you might have to play it by ear, and with not many reviews floating about, it hasn't quite hit the mainstream yet. Still, if you're in the area and fancy a proper homely spot for a bite and a chat, I'd say give it a go; the positives far outweigh the niggles, and it's got that charm that'll leave you smiling.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The atmosphere is absolutely cosy and welcoming, making you feel right at home as soon as you step in.
-
The food and drinks are spot on – think delicious homemade soups, tasty toasties, and excellent coffee that hits the spot.
-
The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive; they go out of their way to make everyone feel special, like chatting with Louise behind the bar.
-
It's wonderfully dog-friendly, so you can pop in with your furry friend for a relaxed visit.
-
The location is super convenient, tucked away but easy to find if you're in the Bridlington area.
Cons
-
There's no website or phone number listed, which makes it a bit of a faff to get the latest info or check if it's open.
-
Operating hours aren't specified, so you might end up turning up and finding it closed, which is a shame for spontaneous plans.
-
With only a handful of reviews out there, it doesn't seem to be on everyone's radar yet, so it could feel a tad under the radar.

I dropped in here with my mother & sister after having visited our accountant next door, purely because it's location was convenient.
What an excellent stroke of luck on our part.!
I was unsure from the outside, but once in it was utterly delightful. We enjoyed delicious coffees, & homemade soup in a characterful environment. There was just one young lady doing everything, but she was very efficient & enchantingly charming.
I don't visit Brid' often, but I will make this a first choice Cafe stop next time I do.

Popped in here for the first time today. Great little place, quirky decor and importantly a really friendly and professional young guy serving. Had a lovely hot choc and a JD and hubby had a beer. Will definitely go back to this friendly welcoming little bar/cafe.
First visit this lunchtime. Lovely place. Cosy relaxed atmosphere, tasty food, excellent coffee, friendly staff and dog friendly. What more could you want??? Will definitely be back.
