About This Pub

Ah, the Bramford Arms – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local spot, tucked away in Woodsetton near Dudley. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the staff are the real MVPs; they're patient, attentive, and make a point of looking after everyone, whether you're in with a fussy eater or a big group from a care home. The food's spot on too – think big portions at fair prices, with deals that let you tuck in without worrying about the bill, and it's all served up in a clean, spacious setting that's great if you're popping in for a match on the telly or a quiz night. They've got the likes of Sky Sports and TNT, so it's brilliant for catching the big games, like the Women's Euros. But, to be fair, it's not all perfect; I've heard a few grumbles about the male toilets not being up to scratch, with some unpleasant smells that could do with sorting out. Still, with an overall rating hovering around 4.1 and plenty of glowing feedback on the service and atmosphere, it's a solid choice for a relaxed evening out. If you're in the area, I'd say give it a go – it's got that warm, community feel that makes you want to come back, just keep an eye on those facilities if you're fussed about the details.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The staff are absolutely brilliant – always friendly and go out of their way to make sure everyone feels welcome, like with families or groups needing a bit of extra help.
  • The food's a real winner; tasty, hearty meals at great value prices, perfect for a casual bite without breaking the bank.
  • It's got a welcoming, relaxed vibe that's ideal for watching live sports or catching up with mates, with events like pub quizzes adding to the fun.
  • The place is clean and spacious, with handy facilities like disabled access and a car park, making it easy for all sorts to pop in.
  • They're spot on for community vibes, hosting things like sing-alongs and looking after groups beautifully, which really makes you feel at home.
Cons
  • The male toilets have had a few complaints about smells and upkeep, which can put a bit of a dampener on things.
  • It might feel a tad standard for those after something more unique, as it's part of a chain and doesn't stand out wildly from the crowd.

Emma and Daz were amazing. Really patient when I come in with my daughter who is a very picky eater and had to have almost everything a certain way but they couldn’t have been more helpful. Glad to see this place thriving again. Food was great service was great cheers guys!

Over 2 days I took 20 residents from our care home (The Firs) and the food, service atmosphere was deffinately 5*. Our residents love going to the Bramford as they are always well looked after and they have the odd sing along. We will be back again soon Thankyou for looking after us Tracey Activity coordinator

Staff welcoming dining area well kept and food tasty. The only down side was the male toilets they smelt like never experienced. Only go back if these changed.

Went here again recently, fantastic vibe and delicious food and the service from Mike was brilliant, really went out of his way to make sure we were happy. I don't usually do reviews but felt he deserved a shoutout. The place wouldn't be the the same without him.

Popped in to try the breakfast menu after seeing an online ad. We found the room nice and clean, very tidy and spacious. I'm in a wheelchair and found a suitable table easily. There was only one waiting staff, who performed his duties so well despite being very busy. We had steak and eggs, which was a treat. Everything cooked nicely and the food was tasty. The steak was very under-seasoned, but that was sorted with some table condiments. We'll definitely be back for breakfast and hope to try the evening menu soon.
