About This Pub

Ah, The Park Inn in Dudley – it's one of those cosy pubs that really hits the spot for a good pint and a chat. From what I've gathered from the reviews, the real ales are an absolute highlight, especially since it's right by the Holdens brewery, and you can't beat deals like £3 pints on Mondays for keeping things affordable. The staff come across as genuinely friendly, and it sounds like the new management has brought some positive changes, making it a proper community hub. On the flip side, it's a shame about the food; those cobs might be promised but not always there, and the opening hours can be a bit unpredictable, so you might find yourself waiting around or missing out. Overall, with a solid 4.4 rating, it's worth popping in if you're after a traditional pub experience, but I'd say go with an open mind and perhaps check ahead if you can. It's got that charm that makes you want to return, warts and all!

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The real ales are absolutely brilliant, especially the Holdens brews brewed right nearby – they make for a top-notch pint every time.
  • Prices are spot on for a casual night out, like getting a pint for just £3 on Mondays, which is a real bargain.
  • The staff are lovely and welcoming, always up for a chat and providing great service that makes you feel right at home.
  • It's got a warm, traditional pub atmosphere that's perfect for relaxing with friends, and the new management seems to be doing a cracking job.
Cons
  • The food options, like those cobs, can be hit or miss – sometimes they're advertised but not available, which is a bit disappointing.
  • Opening hours aren't always reliable; it might not be open during the day as expected, so you could end up planning around that.
  • Without an official website, it's tricky to check the latest details or what's on offer before heading over.

My local. Brew their own beer and sell on premises. Brilliant pint. Great land lord. His dog wanders around looking for a bit of fuss. Great place to come for a great pint.
