Oh, Blanchflower is such a gem in Sale, isn't it? From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, it's got this warm, lively feel with modern decor that makes you want to linger over a cuppa. The food is where it really shines – think delicious, freshly made breakfasts and brunches packed with in-house baked goods and local ingredients, like those tasty vegan options or a hearty full English that comes out piping hot and full of flavour. The staff are an absolute delight, always on hand to make sure everything's just right, and there's even a nice outdoor area for when the weather's playing ball. On the flip side, it does get packed on weekends, so you might end up waiting a few minutes for a table, and if you're hoping for a proper evening out, the early closing times could be a bit of a letdown. All in all, it's a solid choice for a relaxed catch-up with mates, offering great value and that homemade touch that keeps folks coming back for more.

Their hours are a tad early – typically closing around 4 or 5 PM, which might not suit those after a late-night pint.

Had brunch/lunch here with some friends on Sunday while it was busy at the market, but we got a table inside with no trouble. I had the full cooked breakfast and it was honestly delightful. Came out super hot, tasted so fresh, well presented and very yummy. Staff were friendly and attentive. I will definitely be returning!
Blanchflower have a great spot on Stanley Square. They have a lovely outdoor seating area for the sunny days, and a delicious menu perfect for a brunch spot or to grab a coffee.
Blanchflower is a brunch spot and bakery right beside the town centre in Sale. The atmosphere was lively and the decor was very modern. We wanted some brunch and wanted to try their vegan options.
I had the vegan sweetcorn fritters with scrambled tofu. The fritters were delicious, garnished with loads of vegetable, herbs and some sauce making for a super colourful plate. The scrambled tofu was well cooked and seasoned and worked really well in the dish.
I also had the parsnip lentil soup with wild garlic pesto and it was absolutely gorgeous! So rich and satiating, the wild garlic pesto really made it special.
Overall the food is really flavourful with a decent selection of vegan options. We were served by Allie who gave us lots of great advice on what to order and instantly knew the vegan options from the menu. The service, food and atmosphere was brilliant so I would definitely advise anyone to come and try Blanchflower 😊
Wow,the place is perfect for breakfast. We are usually go there on weekends, and it is very crowded we have to queue for 15-20 min but it worth the wait.
The pastries are delicious and the drinks are made to perfection.
The prices are reasonable.
We had a delightful lunch at this lovely spot. The food was absolutely delicious and came highly recommended. The warm plates and beautifully arranged dishes made for a memorable meal. We enjoyed refreshing iced lattes and cappuccinos to complete our experience.
