About This Pub
Ah, Bar Fever Gloucester – what a spot for letting your hair down! From what I've gathered chatting about places like this, it's got that infectious energy that really gets the party started, with staff who are genuinely charming and efficient, making every visit feel special. The music's spot on, with two rooms playing a mix of tunes to suit all tastes, and they've nailed the drinks menu with plenty of options that cater to different preferences, including some cracking non-alcoholic choices. It's brilliant for groups or special occasions, and the VIP area adds a touch of excitement if you're up for something a bit more exclusive. On the flip side, though, it's not open every day, so you might have to plan around its schedule, and the nightclub vibe means it can be a bit overwhelming if you're after a calmer evening. All in all, it's a solid choice for a fun night, but worth keeping in mind if you're not in the mood for a full-on bash – I'd say give it a go if you're up for some laughs and good company!
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The staff are an absolute delight – they're friendly, professional, and really make you feel right at home, with mentions of folks like Bethan and Alice going above and beyond.
-
There's a fantastic vibe with great music across two rooms, plus a dedicated VIP area and smoking spot, making it ideal for a proper night out.
-
They've got a brilliant selection of drinks, including soft options and alcohol-free choices, so there's something for everyone whether you're up for a pint or just a mocktail.
-
It's got that high-energy atmosphere that's perfect for celebrations, with quick service and a welcoming feel that keeps you coming back.
Cons
-
It's only open a few days a week, mostly late evenings, which might make it tricky if you're after a spontaneous mid-week gathering.
-
As a nightclub, it can get quite lively and crowded, so if you're looking for a more relaxed spot for a quiet chat, it might not quite hit the mark.
-
The late-night hours mean it's more suited to evening escapades, and you might miss out if you're an early bird or fancy a daytime pint.

Bethan was great! My god, what a pro, very accommodating and had all the charm of Alan Carr and the London palladium, so sweet, so funny and generously confident! Service with a smile and then 100% she desires a raise and many more postulates in the future.
Fever is the best nightclub in Gloucester, great range of soft drinks and alcohol free. Door staff made the experience amazing from start to finish. Alice is the best ! Music was fantastic and loved the two rooms and smoking area.
My mates dragged me in here and to be honest I'm glad they did, good energy from everyone and the music being played is 10/10. More importantly the bar staff made me feel welcome and did fab job (especially steph in shed) I will be back again! See you soon fever!!
Shannon is a very experienced bar tender. She knows the range of drinks and offers well and promotes 'the best offer of the evening'. Would recommend the venue and visit again!
