About This Pub
Ah, Bar Dos Hermanos – it's one of those places that just pulls you in with its 1940s Cuban flair, right in the middle of Leicester. From what I've gathered from folks who've been, the cocktails are a real highlight; they're made with fresh, authentic ingredients that leave you feeling refreshed and transported, especially with those tempting happy hour deals. The food's no slouch either – think mouth-watering tapas and hearty breakfasts that hit the spot without breaking the bank. The team behind the bar are just lovely, always up for a chat and making sure everything runs smoothly, which really adds to the welcoming vibe. On the downside, the opening times can be a bit of a puzzle with some mixed-up details, so you might end up planning around that. And it does fill up quickly, which is great for its popularity but means it could get a bit crowded if you're after a quiet pint. All in all, it's a fabulous spot for a relaxed catch-up or a special treat, as long as you go in with a bit of flexibility – definitely worth a visit if you're after something a touch different in the local scene.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The cocktails are absolutely spot on – fresh garnishes and authentic spirits that make you feel like you're in Havana, with deals like two for £12 during happy hours.
-
The staff are an absolute delight, always friendly and attentive, making every visit feel warm and welcoming.
-
They've got a cracking selection of tapas, breakfast, and brunch options at great prices, like five tapas dishes for under £20, perfect for a budget-friendly bite.
-
The 1940s Cuban vibe creates a charming atmosphere that's enchanting any time of day, whether you're popping in solo or with mates.
-
It's got a solid reputation for quality food and drinks, with plenty of options for different tastes, including vegan choices and cask ales.
Cons
-
The operating hours can be a bit confusing with conflicting info, so it's worth double-checking before heading out to avoid disappointment.
-
It tends to get quite busy, especially on weekends, which might mean waits for a table or that cosy spot you were hoping for.
-
Being in Clarendon Park, it might feel a tad out of the way if you're not local, though it's still handy for a Leicester jaunt.

Best place to eat on Queens Road.
Always love a visit here! Solo or with friends. Great service, bar staff on point with drinks and look after you really well. Becoming one of my regular spots not far from home.
Came here for brunch with my family for an special occasion and it did not disappoint.
Very happy with the treatment we received all the ladies working in the brunch are very caring.
The food was delicious and they have a different menu for vegans.
We got combos of cocktail and brunch and the price was very reasonable in comparison with other venues.
Definitely will be coming back.
Great experience.
This is my weekend treat. Such a lovely bunch of people. Hayley is amazing and always asks how we are. The staff overall are superb. Kind, friendly and thoughtful. Food is banging every single time. We are working our way through the menu. Lol! The chef always gives us a wave if he sees us. On a Sunday they have a saxophone player. He really adds to the atmosphere. He’s a truly nice guy too! We have made so many friends here. Whatever is going on in my life, this place cheers me right up and makes me feel I am abroad somewhere. There is nothing on the menu that we have tried so far, that we didn’t like. My faves are the French toast or the Posh eggs. Then the Churros, well… they are to die for!
Charming cocktail bar transports you to somewhere in Havana. I had a passionfruit daiquiri. It was absolutely refreshing and heavenly aromatic with the fruity fragrance. The romantic decor means that you can come in anytime of the day and you will always feel enchanted!
