About This Pub
Oh, let me tell you about Auntie Lolo's Kitchen – it's this cosy little restaurant tucked away in Rugby that's become a bit of a hidden gem for anyone after a solid meal without breaking the bank. From what I've gathered from the chatter online, the food really steals the show; folks are going on about their full English breakfasts being spot on, with juicy sausages and the best bacon they've had in ages, all for a price that won't leave you feeling short-changed. The staff sound like absolute stars too, always ready with a smile and a laugh, making it feel more like catching up with mates than just grabbing a bite. It's got that welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to linger over a cup of tea, and with quick service to boot, you won't be hanging about unnecessarily. On the flip side, though, it's not without its quirks – the place tends to shut up shop by lunchtime, so if you're thinking of popping in for a late dinner, you might be out of luck. Plus, without a proper website, it's a bit of a faff to get the lowdown beforehand, and those operating days can be patchy, meaning you might have to plan around it. All in all, if you're in the mood for a hearty, no-fuss meal with friendly faces, it's well worth a visit, but just keep those opening times in mind to avoid any disappointment.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The food is absolutely brilliant – think top-notch full English breakfasts with tender bacon and sausages that leave you wanting more.
-
Staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, always up for a bit of banter which makes the place feel like a proper local hangout.
-
It has a lovely atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed morning or lunch, with customers raving about the great vibes.
-
Value for money is spot on; you can get a hearty meal and a cuppa for around £8, which feels like a real bargain.
-
Service is fairly quick, so you won't be left twiddling your thumbs waiting for your grub.
Cons
-
Operating hours are a bit limited, typically wrapping up by early afternoon, so it's not ideal if you're after an evening spot.
-
With no website or online presence beyond Google, it can be tricky to check the latest details or menu before heading over.
-
The schedule seems a tad inconsistent from what's listed, and it's only open six days a week, which might not suit everyone's plans.
-
Parking might be fine, but if it's busy, you could find yourself hunting around a bit more than expected.

If you’re wanting a proper full English breakfast and a cafe full of banter..you need to go to Monty’s!
My first experience was that good that I’m now a regular customer, for breakfast’s sitting in and lunches to take away. The girls are so welcoming and always up for a giggle, nothing is too much for them.

Best bacon so far, tender and amazing. I loved the breakfast. I had full English and a tea for £8. It was worth it. The staff were friendly and nice. The service was fairly fast. Fair amount of parking spaces.
