About This Pub
So, I had a wander into AlfrescoNapoli the other day, and honestly, it's one of those places that just hits the spot for a casual Italian fix. The pizzas are spot on – think crispy edges with a nice, delicate base that's not quite Neapolitan but still full of character, and don't even get me started on those garlic dough balls; they're an absolute treat. The staff are proper lovely, always up for a chat and making everything feel welcoming, which really adds to that authentic Mediterranean charm. It's tucked away in a business park, but once you're inside, it feels worlds away. On the flip side, though, the ordering system is a right faff – it takes forever to get served, and I reckon they'd be onto a winner if they sorted out an app or something to speed things up. Still, with such tasty grub and reasonable prices, it's well worth a visit if you're in the area and fancy something hearty without breaking the bank. All in all, it's a solid spot for a bite, but go in with realistic expectations about the setup.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The food is absolutely brilliant – especially the pizzas and garlic dough balls, which are packed with flavour and feel really authentic.
-
The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in.
-
It's got a lovely Italian vibe, with a delicate touch that transports you straight to the Mediterranean, even in a business park setting.
-
Portions are generous, offering great value for money, so you won't leave feeling short-changed.
Cons
-
The ordering system is a bit outdated and can take ages, which puts a damper on the overall experience.
-
It's more of a takeaway with a sit-in area rather than a proper restaurant, so it might not feel as polished for a relaxed evening out.
-
Some portions are massive, which could be overwhelming if you're not in the mood for a hefty meal.

very nice pizza and excellent garlic dough balls althoughthe portion was massive.
Went here for some lunch, and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff are really nice. The interior of the restaurant has a nice delicate Italy touch.
We got two 12" pizzas, they were something in between napolian style and a thin base pizzza, the dough was crispy from the outside but nice and delicate on the inside . The tomato base was really nice and fresh.
The pizza does fill you up quite well, would recommend.
Food is really nice, can’t complain about portion size and staff are really friendly. However order system needs to change desperately, takes so long to get served. Please get an app or something, it would make the experience so much better.
A great Italian takeaway and restaurant in Aycliffe industrial estate specialising in incredible pastas and pizza. Wonderful staff in a beautiful authentic Mediterranean restaurant.
Firstly the food is well above average and is some of the best Italian cuisine I have tasted in the UK. The restaurant looks fantastic although it's more of a takeaway with a sit in area rather than a restaurant. The staff are very friendly and the food is priced brilliantly bordering on cheap when you compare it with the high quality food. The only issue is the speed of service, this place could be making money hand over fist with a little bit of planning. Such as lunch time many people can't leave work for 30mins to wait in a queue. Possibly have some made up Pasta boxes for quick in and outs.
