About This Pub
Oh, you know, the Virgin Tavern is one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local gem in Worcester – it's got that inviting atmosphere where you can pop in for a quiet drink or dive into the fun with mates. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the staff are absolute stars, always up for a chat and making everyone feel welcome, which really sets the tone for a great night. They've nailed the events side of things too, with quiz nights, darts, live music, and even family days that include activities for the little ones, making it a versatile spot for all sorts. The beer garden is a highlight, especially on a sunny day, with heaters and screens to keep you comfy whatever the weather throws at us. And let's not forget the drinks and food – a good pint of Guinness and some top-notch breakfasts have people raving. But, to keep it real, it might not be as lively as it used to be sometimes, so if you're after a packed house, it could feel a bit subdued. Plus, the opening hours can vary, so double-check before heading out. All in all, it's a solid choice for a laid-back evening or a catch-up, and I'd say it's worth a visit if you're in the area – you'll likely leave with a smile.

Very nice local. Nice place to go for a quiet drink or socialising with friends. Always enjoy my time spent here, especially when they have entertainment on. Strongly recommend their fundays which cater for the whole family. They also do morning functions for the little ones like Easter egg hunt’s or breakfast with Santa.
Great pub. Always a friendly welcome from staff and other customers. Plenty of activities including crib team, quiz nights, darts, and live music. Also have family days on bank holiday weekends, with plenty of things to keep children occupied. Keep up the good work Craig and Danielle.
one of the most honest places to work & drink. regulars are lovely, staff are even better. great place for a little chit chat or even a party.
Doesn't get as busy as it use to. But still a good honest place for a beer. Nice outside area in the sun. Friendly staff and owner who runs it Craig is a sound guy. Darts board. Pool table and good selection of beers. Very good Guinness
Popped into the Virgin Tavern, Tolly Road Worcester.
We had an excellent Breakfast and met up with some old friends.
What a lovely Pub and people, we couldn't have been made more welcome.
Danielle cooked our Breakfasts to perfection, our drinks and food were spot on. We will definitely be back for more. There's a nice Beer garden if the weather's good.
