About This Pub
Ah, The Townhouse – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a breath of fresh air when you step inside. From what I've gathered from the reviews, it's got this fantastic vibe that's ideal for a casual get-together or soaking in some live music or sports action. The staff really stand out; they're described as amazingly nice and always ready to help, which makes the whole experience that bit more enjoyable. It's spacious too, with loads of areas to sit, and being dog-friendly adds a lovely touch if you're out with your pooch. On the flip side, the hours can be a tad unpredictable, and it seems like food isn't a big draw here – one person skipped it altogether, so if you're looking for a proper pub grub session, you might want to plan elsewhere. Still, with a solid 4.0 rating, it's clear this place knows how to keep things fun and welcoming, and I'd say it's worth a visit for a relaxed pint or a chat with mates. Just keep an eye on those opening times to avoid any disappointments!

Top-notch for live music or watching the big games, with helpful staff sorting out the best seats.
Cons
-
The operating hours can be a bit confusing with varying times, and it might close earlier than you'd hope for a proper night out.
-
Not much mention of food options, and one person didn't bother getting any, so it might not be the go-to place if you're after a meal.
-
The website's a bit of a letdown with access issues, which could make it tricky to check menus or events beforehand.

Didnt get any food, but great atmosphere and great for catch ups
Spacey place plenty areas to sit, dog friendly, fast bar service compared to most pubs around.
Enjoyed it here.
Walked by many times and only came in today. It's fantastic. Fun decor, staff that should all be given bonuses for being so nice. We'll definitely be back.
First time in this bar since it opened a year ago, and I walked past plenty of times. Staff are amazing. Nice selection of drink. Will definitely be back
Best place to enjoy live music or sport in Whitley!! - the staff are so helpful reserving a top table for big games with loads of choice upstairs and down. Brilliantly decorated and canny punters - always a good night!
