About This Pub
Ah, The Station House – it's one of those neighbourhood Irish pubs that you might just pop into for a quick pint and end up staying longer. From what I've gathered, the atmosphere is spot on; it's full of locals having a laugh, and the beers are always cold and reasonably priced, which is just what you want after a busy day. The staff come across as genuinely pleasant, getting your drinks out quickly without any fuss, and there's that charming traditional feel with Irish touches that make it feel cosy and authentic. On the flip side, though, it's a shame about the hygiene gripes – a couple of folks mentioned awful smells and dodgy toilets, which could spoil the experience if you're not careful. Overall, it's got a solid 4.1 rating, so if you're in the area and fancy a casual drink, I'd say give it a go, but maybe keep your expectations in check and head elsewhere if cleanliness is a big deal for you.
Pros and Cons
Pros

The atmosphere is really welcoming and friendly, just like a proper local spot where you can chat with the regulars.
-
They serve up good pints at reasonable prices – it's a treat to find a cold beer that doesn't break the bank.
-
The staff are pleasant and on the ball with quick service, making your visit feel smooth and enjoyable.
-
It's got that authentic traditional Irish pub vibe, with cosy interiors and little nods to Irish culture that add a nice touch.
Cons
-
There have been some unhygienic issues reported, like unpleasant smells and even flooded toilets, which can really put you off.
-
It doesn't seem to offer much in the way of food, so if you're after a proper meal with your drinks, you might be disappointed.
-
The place has had a few mixed experiences lately, with some visits feeling less than ideal despite the generally positive buzz.

Nice local pub with local people. It's an old skool style pub didn't have food but it was a friendly atmosphere and good pints.
Popped into the Station (as i usually do) on the way to the game what a great atmosphere! Place was gleaming, staff were pleasant and drink prices reasonable.
Will call in again soon.
Not really one to do reviews but I felt that I had to after mine and my partner visited this place over the weekend,
What a unhygienic place we sat there for 1 hour trying to figure out what the horrible smell was, my partner went into the male toilets and said the floor was flooded with poo water leaking from the toilet so we was thinking the smell might be coming from everybody's shoes from walking in it, but the the barmaid Paula stood near us and the smell that was coming off her was disgraceful, everytime she walked past she left a disgusting smell, we got talking to some locals and asked them is this usually the aroma in this place and they assured us that everybody has a problem with Paula's hygiene as it had been like this for a long time,
After clarification of this hygiene issue we sat watching her and I wish I never ordered a drink after watching her for awhile, we watched her scratching her greasy hair continually, put her hand down the back of the trousers and scratch and cough into the hands numerous times all this in the space of 1hour.
To finish off our never to be forgotten Paula experience she proceeded to start shouting and acting very aggressive with somebody only to be close enough to see her disgusting looking teeth that look like they have never been brushed, you could literally see a film over them that you know has been there for a long time.
All in all we was flabbergasted that any owner could employ and
A nice enough pub with a surprising pleasant traditional interior - didn't expect that from the outside! Quick service and £4.90 for a pint of Stella.
Decked out as an Irish pub with many a nod to the language on the beams spanning the room. However, all the punters wanted was Tottenham on the telly. Lots of debate over the rights and wrongs of the way the game is being played/ managed etc. All good stuff. The beer was fine and cold. Three pumps for cask ales but nothing on during my visit. A good old rough and ready boozer.
