About This Pub
Ah, The Olde Red Lion – it's one of those pubs that just warms you up as soon as you step inside. From what I've gathered from the chats online, it's got this brilliant atmosphere that's perfect for enjoying live music or catching the footie with a cold one in hand. The staff really stand out; they're polite and welcoming, which makes the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. Plus, the beers and ciders are spot on, and the prices won't break the bank, especially if you're nipping out for a quick garden session on a sunny afternoon. On the flip side, though, the hours can be a bit of a letdown – they often close up early, so it's not ideal for a late-night gathering. And while the drinks get plenty of praise, the food doesn't get much mention, which might leave you wondering if it's worth trying or if you'd be better off popping to the chippy nearby. Overall, it's a solid spot for a casual get-together, but keep those timings in mind to make the most of it!

It's a top choice for watching football, with a great vibe for fans, especially if you're cheering on the reds.
Cons
-
The operating hours can feel a bit limited, often wrapping up early in the afternoon, which might cut short your evening plans.
-
There's not much buzz about the food options, as some folks haven't tried it or commented on it, so it might not be the main draw.
-
The website seems a tad unreliable with errors popping up, making it tricky to get all the details you need before heading over.

Recently refurbished live music pub with great staff and a lively atmosphere especially on performance nights very open and spacious with great beer and music
Just called for a quick one while the weather was actually warmish the other Saturday. Sat in the pleasant beer garden. Served by a very pleasant and polite girl. Couldn't get over the price for a large G and T very reasonable. Didn't have time to eat.
Great local with Live Music. Fabulous way to spend a Friday night
