About This Pub

Ah, The Moon on the Square – it's one of those reliable Wetherspoons pubs that you can always count on for a good time without breaking the bank. From what I've gathered from the reviews, the food really shines; folks are raving about tasty options like the chicken tikka curry, BBQ burgers, and that bargain breakfast that lets you swap things up for free – it's all about getting a hearty meal without the hefty price tag. The service is spot on too, with quick and cheerful staff that make you feel right at home. And let's not forget the atmosphere; it's got that genuine, lively feel with a mix of booths and tables, ideal for chatting over a pint or two. But, fair's fair, it does have its downsides – the place can get packed to the gills, especially on a Saturday night, and the smaller space means it might not be the most comfortable if you're after some peace and quiet. Plus, while most of the grub is spot on, there are little niggles like the odd dodgy sausage that could do with a tweak. Overall, though, it's a cracking choice for anyone in Feltham looking for an honest pub experience – just go in with realistic expectations, and you're in for a treat!

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The food is absolutely delicious and offers brilliant value for money, like that small breakfast for just £2.25 – it's a real steal!
  • Service is impressively fast and friendly, making for a smooth visit every time.
  • They've got a wide selection of drinks and meals, so there's something for everyone, whether you're after a quick bite or a proper pint.
  • The atmosphere is proper and welcoming, with a lively, honest vibe that's just right for a good catch-up with mates.
  • It's conveniently located in the heart of Feltham, and being open seven days a week from early morning makes it easy to pop in whenever.
Cons
  • It can get really busy, especially on weekends, which might mean waiting around for a table or dealing with a bit of a crowd.
  • The space inside is a tad compact, so if you're after a quiet corner, it might feel a bit cramped at times.
  • Some food items aren't quite spot on, like the sausage in the breakfast having a waxy texture that could put you off.
  • The overall vibe is loud and brash in that typical Wetherspoons way, which isn't for everyone if you're seeking something more relaxed.

Plastic pub no! Proper pub yes! This Wetherspoons in Feltham is a tough watering hole, it's loud and a bit brash, but its good and has a good honest atmosphere. Compact inside, but still okay. Gets busy at most times. Had a Chicken tikka curry there on my last visit, it was tasty, hot and perfect. Food is always good. Happy to visit here, always.

Popped in here on the way home from the big game at twickenham, had a BBQ burger which was ok but as usual the beer was excellent value 👌, the pub was fairly busy but as it was a Saturday night it was what you expected from a J D Wetherspoons 👍 there is no reason not to pop in and give a try you can really go wrong with a spoons

I got the Small breakfast for £2.25 at Wetherspoons. The last time I had a breakfast like this under £2.00 was at ikea but wetherspoons is better. I got the small and they let me change the hash brown for black pudding for free. It wasn't bad except for the sausage texture which was waxy like those vegan sausages and the egg could have done without a crater in the yolk. The black pudding was really crispy and airy like those popped cheese snacks. I really wanted the eggs Benedict too but they were not available.
