Went out without a reservation during eat out to help out and the only empty establishment was this, (a warning I should of heeded). Beer tasted sweet and tangy; this is when a beer line has not been cleaned properly for a long time. I ordered steak which came uncompleted. My partner ordered macaroni, which comically consisted of penne pasta with watery white sauce poured over...I mean a joke. Its supposed to be baked in the oven.
Overall the place has a 1970s soviet bloc ambience and tired decor.
This place is ok. Went here with 3 others on a Saturday evening 6pm, generally a nice place with TVs on the wall and a long bar, it's nice and warm in there as well which was nice. The foods not the best but it's affordable so that's good, I had a burger and it was not the great, the meat was hard for some reason but the rest of the burger and the chips were nice. If you want somewhere quite and affordable then why not pop in and see for yourself😎
Really good food. Good value for money!
Where do I start ? No peas left, not enough popcorn chicken for 2 children's meals, ( which we were informed about 30 minutes after ordering and had to change our order ). Food took over 40 minutes to arrive, Chips were cold. Most of these would have been slightly acceptable if it were a busy weekend time but it was a quiet Tuesday lunch time. I counted 4 customers order food the entire time we were there.
On a very lightly positive note. The bar staff were friendly and apologetic and the toilets were clean.
I shall not be returning any time soon.
Awful Sunday morning breakfest experience. Lady behind the bar was so tired that she kept yawning whole time when I was placing my order (am I that boring?). She couldn't give correct prices for cakes/drinks combo.
And she just about managed to get cake onto the plate.
No stirrers for hot drinks.
Tables sticky.
At least food was okay, but because of overall experience - never again.
