About This Pub
Ah, The Kentish Belle – it's one of those places that just feels like a proper local hideaway, you know? From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, it's all about that fantastic array of drinks; think top-notch cask and craft beers that are always well-kept and reasonably priced, which is a win in my book for anyone looking to explore new flavours without breaking the bank. The staff really shine here – they're so approachable and make you feel welcome, whether you're popping in solo or with a group, and it's great that it's dog-friendly and family-oriented too. Events like quiz nights and cheese board days add a fun twist, turning a simple visit into something memorable. On the flip side, though, parking can be a bit of a nuisance with only street options available, and if you're not keen on stairs, the layout of the facilities might not be the most convenient. Overall, it's a solid spot for a relaxed evening, and I'd say it's worth a visit if you're in the area – just plan ahead for those little niggles, and you'll have a cracking time.
Pros and Cons

-
The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in.
-
It's got a lovely, relaxed atmosphere that's perfect for everything from a lively catch-up with mates to a quiet Sunday afternoon with a book and a board game.
-
They host fun events like quiz nights and tap takeovers, which add a real buzz and keep things exciting.
-
Prices are refreshingly reasonable, especially for the quality on offer, and you can even take away beers to enjoy at home.
-
The location is spot on, just a stone's throw from Bexleyheath station, making it dead easy to pop in after a journey.
Cons
-
Parking is a bit of a pain, as it's only street or resident spots nearby, so you might end up walking a short way.
-
Some facilities, like the male toilets being upstairs, could be tricky for folks with mobility issues or if you're carrying a lot.
-
The opening hours kick off in the afternoon, so it's not the best spot if you're after a early morning pint or brunch.

I had a wonderful dining experience here with two friends. The food was absolutely delicious, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere made it even better. The staff, which included the owner and the chef, genuinely made us feel at home. It's a cosy, comfortable spot that clearly cares about both the food and its guests. Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant!
Opened in 2018, the pub is close to Bexleyheath train station and bus stops and opposite Basilon Road, giving panoramic views of Shooters Hill and sunsets. Female toilets are on the ground floor, while the male toilet is on the First floor. The entrance door is adequate to allow most wheelchair users. Two large chalkboards display the beer and cider menus. Three kegbeers and up to seven cask beers are on offer. Beer and cider is served straight from the cask in lined glasses, available in pint, half pint and third glases. A selection of craft beer as well as wines and spirits. Pump clips were fixed to the stairwell walls and are extending to other walls. Prices vary. October 2023 saw a new owner take possession. Fixed seating has been replaced by loose furniture. The pub welcomes children and is dog friendly. Since August 2024 the pub has become cashless.
First time visit and simply love this micro pub. Staff is so friendly & welcoming. Good location few steps from train station. Really good selection of keg and cask beers as well as more in fridge.
The prices are really reasonable and shockingly low compare to others around.
Atmosphere was quite friendly and cool. Told couple of my friends and i’m coming back with them soon.
Many varieties of local craft beers at reasonable prices. The staff are very friendly. We met friendly local people and enjoyed a lot. Great taproom.
Great selection of ales , ciders and beer . Take away service as well so you can continue your quality drinking at home . Couple of weeks before we are allowed inside but they have an area at the front and around the back for outside drinking
Excellent service . Highly recommended for the ales and cider connoisseur..
