About This Pub
Ah, The Horns – it's one of those pubs that really hits the spot if you're after a night of cracking live music and a pint with mates. I love how they've made it a hub for local talent, with everything from bands and open mic sessions to comedy and quizzes keeping things fresh and exciting. The drinks are spot on too, with a great range of beers and spirits that won't break the bank, and the staff are always up for a chat, adding to that warm, community feel. On the downside, it does get packed during popular events, which can make it a squeeze to get around, and parking's a bit of a faff with limited spots nearby. Plus, with it only open five days a week, you might need to time your visit just right to catch the best of it. All in all, it's a solid choice for a memorable evening out, but go in with realistic expectations and you'll have a whale of a time.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The live music scene is absolutely brilliant, with a packed calendar of bands, open mic nights, and events that really get the atmosphere buzzing.
-
They've got a cracking selection of drinks, from delicious draft and craft beers to gins and rums from all over the world, all at reasonable prices.
-
The staff are genuinely friendly and efficient, making you feel welcome from the moment you walk in.
-
It's a cosy spot with great acoustics and a lively vibe, perfect for enjoying an intimate evening of music and good company.
Cons
-
It can get a bit crowded on busy nights, which might make it tricky to find space or lead to a short wait at the door.
-
Parking options are limited, so you might end up with a quick walk from a pay-for spot nearby.
-
They're only open five days a week, which means you have to plan around their schedule and might miss out if you're spontaneous.
-
The place isn't always buzzing with people, so on quieter evenings, the energy might not be as electric as you'd hope.

Fantastic evening watching 3 live bands. Unfortunately the videos of The Very Lazy Sundays were all live so can't upload.
Went there because I miss to listen to a live band playing. I really had a great time and there's a different singer and a band called Ricochet. It's awesome, they played a lot of different songs. Shame though the place is not so busy. Every Wednesday they have an open mike and the lady host at that night is very entertaining and funny.
Great little live music venue with a good selection of ales and beers and a fantastic live music sound system. Worth a visit

Not a bad pub, away from the main strip of bars on Watford High Street. They regularly host live bands, and the acoustics are pretty good.
Staff were friendly and efficient, whilst security didn't get "in your face", like some venues.
My only criticisms are that the place was pretty crowded when I visited, and they charge central London prices for a pint.
Went to see Wired at the Horns last night. We had a great night, and so it seemed, did everyone else who was there. Great venue for an intimate soiree of music and dancing.
