Slug & Lettuce - Watford

You know, I popped into Slug & Lettuce in Watford the other week, and it's one of those places that just hits the spot for a good time out. The cocktails are spot on – we tried the Zombie and Pina Coladas on that 2-for-1 deal, and they were absolute belters, served up with a smile by the team like Sienna and Georgia, who really know how to make you feel at home. The food's not bad either; we had some delicious sweet potato fries as a swap, and the overall vibe is clean and welcoming, ideal for groups or even a solo sip. They've got all sorts of events going on, like bottomless brunches and pride month specials, which add a fun twist. On the downside, it does fill up quickly, so if you're hoping for a quiet corner, you might want to get there early, and it's a shame if they run out of things like steak when you're in the mood for it. All in all, it's a solid choice for a night of laughs and drinks, but just keep those little niggles in mind for the best experience.
