About This Pub
Ah, The Hop Vault – what a gem it is in Stourbridge for anyone who's mad about craft beer and all its wonders. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with this impressive lineup of brews, from punchy IPAs and sours to rich stouts and ciders, all sourced from top-notch local and international makers. It's clear from the buzz around it that folks absolutely love the variety; you can sip on the spot in their taproom or pick up cans for later, and the staff are just brilliant, always on hand with spot-on recommendations to suit your mood. They've got these fun events and tastings too, which really add to the excitement and make it feel like a community hub. On the flip side, though, it does get a bit crowded sometimes, especially when everyone's after their favourite tipple, so you might have to queue up or plan your visit wisely. And if craft beer isn't your thing, well, it might not hit the mark as the options are pretty focused on that scene, plus things can get a tad pricey if you're trying a few. All in all, it's a solid choice for a relaxed catch-up with mates, but I'd say it's best for those who appreciate a good pint and don't mind the occasional downside – gives it that authentic pub charm, doesn't it?

Great place to get a great selection of craft beer and Belgian beer. I just went for a takeaway but lovely place for a brew. A really strong selection with good stock. Some great local beers plus many other top breweries. Look forward to a sit down and more beer in the future👌🏼👍🏼
So pleased there was a long queue for the Stourbridge Shuttle - if not I would not have returned to town to visit this gem. Predominately selling Craft Keg on tap and in cans & bottles, there’s also 3 Cask Ales. This bar is pure quality and would be an asset on any high street.
Micropub meets craft can/bottle shop, resulting in one of the best bars I've ever visited! ❤
Insanely impressive collections of drinks on draught or in bottles/cans. Available to drink in house or to take home, including all manners of craft beer, craft cider, wine, spirits and cocktails 🍻
Atmosphere is lovely and chill, low level background music is nice, staff are amazing, and there is something for every price range / budget 👍
Cannot wait to come back again! 👏😁
Awesome Craft Beer Shop now with added Taproom.
Excellent selection of craft beers local, national and international.
Always stocking new releases quickly.
The taproom is an awesome addition to have a taster while you decide what you're taking home.
Staff beer knowledge is great and the vibe in store is perfect. I'm a little way out so have to drive but could easily get a train in and lose an afternoon or evening in the Taproom before taking home my chosen cans.
Right in the centre of Stourbridge, only issue is the ring road, don't miss the turn off or you'll be doing laps.
My favourite shop, great selection of cans and now that they have 15 taps is become even better. Really knowledgeable staff who are very helpful and can recommend beers to suit tastes.
I've added a couple of pics to show the range I bought recently, and also had a couple of quick "thirds" while I was browsing.
