About This Pub

Ah, Anatolia Grill – what a lovely spot it's turned out to be, based on all the chatter from those who've been. I've got to say, if you're in the mood for some top-tier Turkish grub, this place delivers in spades. Folks are absolutely buzzing about the food; it's fresh, packed with gorgeous flavours, and even the more conservative eaters are coming away impressed by dishes like the calamari and meze platters. The staff really make the experience, being so kind and attentive – it's like they're genuinely chuffed to have you there, whether you're just nipping in for a drink or celebrating something special. They've even gone the extra mile for birthdays, putting up banners and all, which is a nice touch that adds to the welcoming feel. The atmosphere is just right for a relaxed evening, not too rowdy but still lively enough for a good chat over dinner. On the flip side, it does feel more like a proper restaurant than your typical pub, so if you're craving that laid-back boozer energy, it might not be your first pick. And blimey, it's listed as closed right now, which is a bit of a shame – definitely give it a quick check to make sure it's open before you plan your trip. All in all, it's a solid choice for a hearty meal out, and I'd reckon it's worth a go if you're exploring the Stourbridge scene.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to make you feel welcome and special, whether it's for a casual meal or a birthday bash.
  • The atmosphere is spot on, creating a warm and inviting space that's perfect for enjoying a meal with mates or family.
  • It's brilliant for groups or special occasions, with accommodating service that makes every visit memorable.
  • Prices are reasonable for the quality, offering great value without breaking the bank.
Cons
  • It seems like the place might be closed at the moment, so it's worth checking the latest status before you pop in.
  • If you're after a traditional pub vibe with pints and casual banter, this is more of a restaurant setup, so it might not quite fit the bill.

What a fabulous experience! The staff are absolutely amazing, so attentive and so kind! The food was out of this world - I didn't know what to expect and I'm quite conservative about food, but this was just so tasty and fresh, so many gorgeous flavours! Highly recommend, for all age groups, everyone is looked after and well catered for!

Great food and even better service. Very friendly staff. We got the Calamari and Shared platter. The Calamari was honestly probably the best I've had, thick cut squid and fried till golden and crispy. The shared platter was also very nice, gave plenty of lamb ribs which had a lot of meat on them, those and the chicken wings were definitely the star of the show. All in all, everything was tasty, and service couldn't be better.

From start to finish, the experience of Anatolia Grill Restaurant was phenomenal. They were very accommodating and went above and beyond, than what we asked for. We ordered our drinks - Turkish tea and Efes were lovely - highly recommended. We ordered our starters, a cold meze platter and some prawns. The team threw in a complimentary hummus with falafels. We ordered our mains - lamb chops and a mixed shish meal, both with chips and salad. We enjoyed the food, especially the lamb chops - literally melted in your mouth! We couldn't eat another thing and yet, the team provided to us with some round dough flat pieces! They were lovely too. This will be a restaurant will be returning to in the future - the customer service was high quality as was the food!
