I hired the pub's back room for my 40th birthday party - what a great venue! I had 50-60 guests and it was the perfect size (I believe it fits alot more but I wanted some tables and chairs put out which took up quite a bit of space). Ben looked after us in the lead up and then Jonny and Sophie took over on the night - thank you all so much for helping make my birthday so special!

The Half Moon is the pub side of the Horns. Nice pub, lots of atmosphere. All wood interior. Seating in the bar area and booths available. Walk through to the Horns venue at the rear of the pub to watch the live entertainment. Again, parking is somewhat difficult ,but Waitrose car park is a 2 minute walk.

I visited recently, it has a great asmosphere and such friendly staff! It has a really good selection of drinks. I also ate there, it was lovely food! Very reasonably priced also! I would certainly return!

Took me ages to choose from the food menu because everything sounded so good. We went for a double smash burger, buffalo wings and parmesan fries. Can honestly say these were the tastiest, most tender wings I’ve ever had. They melt in your mouth! Parmesan fries were also serious business. Buzzing to come back and try the rest! Good selection of beers and lovely garden too.

Went in for some food, whilst waiting for food the Chef - Adam came out and introduced himself personally and the food was exceptional. Then the bar staff - Bruno continued with the great service with his service, serving us with table service 10/10 experience will definitely come back and would recommend anyone else coming.
