About This Pub

Ah, let me tell you about The Fox & Goose – it's one of those places that just hits the spot for a relaxed evening out or a quick overnight in Ealing. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the staff are absolute stars; they're warm, attentive, and really make you feel like you're among mates, especially if you're there for something special like a Sunday lunch. The food doesn't disappoint either – we're talking mouth-watering roasts and breakfasts that could start your day off perfectly, all at prices that won't break the bank. Plus, the rooms are nicely done up with thoughtful touches, and that beer garden is just the ticket for a sunny afternoon pint. On the flip side, it's not smack in the middle of London, so you might find yourself relying on the tube to get into the hustle and bustle, and it's a tad annoying that the opening times aren't spelled out clearly online. All in all, though, it's a solid choice for anyone after a friendly pub experience with a bit of hotel comfort thrown in – I'd say give it a go if you're in the area, you won't regret it!

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home, always going the extra mile for a special occasion like Father's Day.
  • The food is spot on – think top-notch roasts, fantastic breakfasts, and delicious dinners at reasonable prices, perfect for a hearty meal.
  • Rooms are smart and comfortable, with lovely extras like complimentary water and milk, making it a great spot for a stay.
  • It's conveniently located near the underground and Wembley, with free parking and a charming beer garden for relaxing outdoors.
  • The atmosphere is welcoming and family-friendly, with a good vibe whether you're popping in for a pint or staying over.
Cons
  • It's a bit out of the way from central London, so you might need to plan your tube journey if you're heading into the city.
  • Details on opening hours aren't readily available, which could make it tricky to drop by spontaneously without checking first.

Came here for Sunday lunch on Father's Day before heading to Wembley for an event. I was treated like royalty when I walked in due to the occasion. The service was great throughout. The roast was one of the best I've ever had and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended!!

The Fox and Goose is an excellent choice. Smart, well appointed rooms with some lovely extra features, kind and courteous staff, and a great restaurant for both breakfast and evening meal. The location is very convenient, easy to drive to from outside London and with a generously sized car park. Travel into the city is easy with Hanger Lane tube and the Central line just a short walk away. We had a delightful stay and will definitely return to the Fox and Goose again.

Amazing hotel! Absolutely fantastic breakfast, which we immediately fell in love with. Very nice pub belonging to the hotel. Very good beer and food. Clean and nicely furnished rooms. Very helpful and friendly staff. Parking is free of charge. If we ever visit London again, we will definitely stay here. I'll be dreaming about their Eggs Benedict for a long time :)

Very kind reception, comfortable rooms, well equipped toilet and a really nice restaurant and garden. Lovely breakfast, cold food, coffee, juices… and then the main dish. Absolutely amazing. Good atmosphere in the place, easy to rest, nice clients. Bit far for the center but well connected by subway (35’). Good choice, absolutely recommended
