About This Pub
Ah, let me tell you about The Endeavour – it's one of those pubs that just warms your cockles from the moment you step inside. From what I've gathered from the reviews, folks absolutely rave about the cosy, friendly atmosphere; it's like popping round to a mate's house for a chat and a drink. The real ales and craft beers are top-notch, with a few awards to prove it, so if you're into your brews, this place will have you grinning ear to ear. They've got some cracking snacks on the menu too, nothing fancy but freshly made and at good prices, plus that sun-trap garden out back is just the ticket for a summer evening. On the flip side, it's a tad frustrating that there's no website to look up the latest info, and if you're hoping for a full-blown meal, you might find the options a bit limited. Still, with such high ratings and that community feel, it's well worth a visit – I'd say it's a solid spot for us pub lovers to enjoy without any fuss.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The atmosphere is absolutely cosy and friendly, making you feel right at home as soon as you walk in.
-
They've got a fantastic selection of real ales and craft beers, with several CAMRA awards under their belt – perfect for us ale enthusiasts.
-
The food menu might be more on the snacking side, but it's freshly made, reasonably priced, and hits the spot, especially with options like those roast dinners.
-
It's got a real community vibe, well-run by the landlady and staff who go out of their way to make your visit memorable.
-
Don't miss the sunny patio garden out back; it's a lovely spot for a pint on a nice day.
Cons
-
It's a shame they don't have a website, so it's not always easy to check the latest details or menu before heading over.
-
The menu is more casual and snack-focused rather than a full restaurant experience, which might leave you wanting more if you're after a proper meal.
-
They're closed one day a week, which could be a bit of a nuisance if you're planning a visit and it happens to be that day.

Great little pub. Cosy and friendly atmosphere.
I have reviewed this wonderful place before for its friendly vibe and excellent real ales and cider. This time I decided to try the food while I was there. The menu is fantastic. It isn't a restaurant menu by a long way. Instead, it is a brilliant snacking size menu at decent prices. Freshly made, well thought out plates. Try the proper fish finger sandwich. Gordon Ramsay would be proud of that!
Lovely local pub with a great community feel to it. Several CAMRA awards proudly dispatched and known for its craft beers.
Great little pub which has won awards for its ales. Up to 5 available. Friendly customers & staff. Well run by Landlady Naomi.
Called in on Sunday around 14:30 and had an amazing pork & beef roast dinner. Well kept ales and a loverly sun trap patio garden out back. A bit of a hidden gem this. Landlord and landlady couldn't do enough for us... Great pub!
