About This Pub

Ah, The Earl of Dalkeith, it's one of those dependable Wetherspoon spots that you can always pop into for a reliable pint or a hearty breakfast. From what I've gathered from the reviews, the staff are absolute gems – friendly, polite, and they really go out of their way to make you feel welcome, which is just what you want after a long day. The prices are spot on too; it's brilliant value for money, whether you're grabbing a quick drink or tucking into some grub without emptying your wallet. The decor's a nice surprise as well, all clean and tidy with that upstairs area that's perfect for a more relaxed chat with mates. But, let's be honest, it's not all perfect – there are times when the queues at the bar can drag on, especially if it's packed, and a couple of folks mentioned an odd vibe, like feeling a bit stared at or seeing tables cluttered with leftovers, which does take away from the experience a touch. Still, with a solid 4.0 rating overall, it's a great go-to for anyone in Kettering looking for an easy, no-fuss pub outing, as long as you go in with realistic expectations.

Loved this Spoons, really nice inside and the upstairs seating was lovely. Only had 1 drink in there but will definitely pop in again when we're in the area. Clean, tidy and staff were great.

Surprisingly wonderful! We visit many Wethers over the country and despite the surroundings this one, both in decor, condition, staff and the other clientele were lovely! Kind of wish this was our local.

Quite a wait to be served due to only one serving for 15 minutes. Pleasant service from the busy staff. Some interesting pictures on the wall. Nicely decorated and clean throughout.

Usual WetherSpoon with cheap food, cheap drinks but nice double storey building. Staff is good. I’m afraid the atmosphere wasn’t pleasant coz everyone was looking at me very strangely while I was getting my drinks pics 😅. Even though most of the tables were full of left over glasses & plates. Haven’t seen any clean table. I left as soon as i finished my drinks coz wasn’t feeling comfortable there.
