About This Pub
Ah, The Damson Pub in Solihull is one of those local gems that really grows on you once you step inside. I have to say, the staff are an absolute delight – always up for a chat and making sure everyone's looked after, which really adds to that cosy, community feel. They've got a cracking selection of beers on tap, from everyday favourites like Carling and Stella to a few ciders and spirits, so it's easy to find something that hits the spot. The outdoor seating is a real treat on warmer evenings, and if you're planning a get-together, their function room sounds like a winner based on what I've heard from folks who've used it for parties. It's also handy being so close to the football ground, with sports on the telly adding to the buzz. On the flip side, though, it can get a bit hectic with all the match-day crowds, which might not suit if you're after a peaceful pint. Oh, and there was that time it was shut for a couple of weeks, which was a bit of a letdown for some. All in all, it's a solid choice for a relaxed night out, but just keep those little niggles in mind to manage your expectations – wouldn't want to oversell it!
