About This Pub
Ah, The Cutty Sark – what a lovely little find in London! From what I've gathered from the reviews, it's got that quintessential pub feel where everything just clicks. The staff are absolute stars, always up for a chat and making sure you're looked after, which really sets the tone for a great night out. Whether you're popping in for a pint and to catch the match on the telly, or settling in for some seriously good grub like their fresh mackerel pate or that standout fish pie, you're in for a treat. The beer garden and riverside spots add a bit of magic, especially on a nice evening. On the flip side, there might be the occasional mix-up with service, like a wee miscommunication that could throw things off, and it's a shame there's no website to check things out beforehand. Still, with such high praise from folks who've been there, I'd say it's well worth a visit if you're in the area – just go with an open mind and enjoy the buzz. It's one of those places that reminds you why we love a good pub crawl in the first place.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in.
-
It's got a brilliant atmosphere – perfect for relaxing with mates, whether you're watching sports on the screens or enjoying a game of pool or darts.
-
The food and drinks are top-notch; think tasty cocktails, fresh oysters, and that amazing fish pie – it's a real treat for a pub meal.
-
There's a lovely beer garden and even riverside seating, which adds a nice touch for those sunny days out.
-
As the only pub in the area, it's a reliable spot that's open every day, with a family-friendly vibe that makes it accessible for all.
Cons
-
There was a bit of miscommunication in service mentioned in one review, which could lead to the odd hiccup if you're in a rush.
-
Without an official website or claimed online presence, it's not the easiest place to get more details or updates before heading over.
-
Being a bit out of the way in SE28, it might not be the most convenient for those not local, though that's part and parcel of a neighbourhood gem.

Nice pub, the only one in the local area. Friendly service. Screens showing sports. Pool table. Darts board.Beer garden.
I’m a 21 year old English lad who doesn’t really drink (out of the ordinary I know) but this pub was brilliant. Amazing atmosphere great service and very relaxing and welcoming.
I’ve lived in Greenwich for 4 years and cannot believe I have never been to this place. Riverside seating, great cocktails, and even better food. The mackerel pate and oysters were some of the best appetisers I’ve had in London.
My partner and I were welcomed at the door as we entered the Cuttis Ark.
The bar staff was different than before; however, they were very friendly.
The staff here was different than before. It was more welcoming and family-friendly.
The service was quick; on my end, there was miscommunication; however, it was on point and the drinks were tasty.
Right by the stream, the beer garden is perfect for summer days and a nice place to relax for a great evening out.
All in all, it was a great day to spend time with that special someone or enjoy the atmosphere they have to offer.
This place hits all the top marks, food, service, ambiance. Great pub. If you have a chance to order the fish pie order it! Just amazing.
