About This Pub
Ah, The Blues in Lowestoft – what a cracking little spot it seems to be, from what I've gathered from the chatter online. It's got this warm, welcoming feel with staff who go out of their way to make you comfortable, and those Sunday music sessions sound like an absolute treat, drawing in some top-notch bands for a proper knees-up. Plus, it's easy on the wallet, which is always a winner when you're out for a pint or two, and folks are singing praises about how clean everything is kept. On the flip side, though, it's not all rosy; a couple of reviews mentioned it can come across as a bit cliquey, and there was that unfortunate incident with the karaoke host being downright rude, which really put a dampener on things for some. Still, with a solid 4.5 rating overall, I'd say it's worth popping in if you're nearby – just keep an eye out for the vibe and maybe steer clear of karaoke if you're after a hassle-free night. All in all, it's a proper pub with heart, but like any place, it's got its quirks.
Pros and Cons

They've got brilliant live music sessions, especially those Sunday afternoons with great bands – it's a hidden gem for music lovers.

It's super affordable, often hailed as the cheapest spot in Lowestoft, so you can enjoy your favourite drinks without breaking the bank.
-
The atmosphere is spot on for a proper local pub, with a lively crowd and events like karaoke that add to the fun.
-
The place is kept really clean, with one reviewer even raving about the loos being the cleanest they've ever seen!
Cons
-
There have been a few reports of it feeling a bit clicky, which might make newcomers feel out of place.
-
One review mentioned the karaoke host being quite rude and creepy, which soured the experience for that group and put them off returning.
-
There's an odd comment about some less than appealing smells and odd decorations, which could detract from the overall vibe if you're sensitive to that sort of thing.

Loved this pub,a right little gem.
Cleanest loo's ever.Will visit again,a proper pub.
Amazing little hidden away music venue. Catch their Sunday 3pm music sessions with some great bands on. Maz runs a great boozer with all of your favourite beverages. Well worth checking this Lowestoft secret out.
Nice pub and bar staff were friendly but very clicky overall. Went to do karaoke, but the guy hosting it was creepy and dam right rude to my partner. Such a shame because we won't go back again now.
What can I say, the smell of toilets and the hanging penises really add to the atmosphere. Great place and karaoke, cheapest pub in Lowestoft
Played a gig down The Blues this afternoon with Mister Pink. Lovely staff, great crowd, top bunch. Hope to see them all again soon.
