About This Pub
Ah, Tank Bar & Live Lounge – what a little find in Warrington! I've got to say, it's one of those places that really hits the mark for a good night out. The live music nights are brilliant; picture yourself sinking into a comfy seat while a singer belts out tunes in the cellar bar – it's got that unique tank feature, which adds a fun twist, even if we're not quite sure what it was originally for. The staff can be absolute gems, like Lydia who's a whiz with the drinks or Becca with her spot-on recommendations; they make you feel looked after without any fuss. And the decorations? They're spot on, creating a welcoming space that's just right for chilling with mates over a few beers. On the flip side, though, there was that awkward encounter with one staff member who seemed a bit off – a cold stare that left us a tad surprised and took the edge off an otherwise great visit. Plus, sorting out when they're actually open can be a bit of a faff with the info being so thin on the ground. All in all, it's a solid choice for us pub goers looking for a mix of entertainment and good craic, as long as you go in with realistic expectations and maybe check ahead first.
Pros and Cons

-
It's got a comfortable, well-decorated space that makes you feel right at home, perfect for a relaxed afternoon or evening.
-
The drinks are spot on, with tasty options like those tequila rose shots that keep you coming back for more.
Cons
-
There was that one off moment with a staff member giving a cold stare, which put a bit of a dampener on things – not the warmest welcome.
-
Details on opening hours are a bit scarce, so you might end up turning up when it's closed, which is a right nuisance.

Great venue to see a singer on Saturday night. The guy on the door directed us down to the cellar bar where there is a tank, hence the name Tank Bar.
Don't know what the tank was for, probably liquid as it's a tank!

Afternoon beers, nice decorations ,feel comfortable ,will come again
Lydia is the best bartender! She was excellent at pouring tequila rose shots and they tasted delicious. Had a great time at the tank and will definitely be coming back!
Visited this bar on the 31st August with my partner. It has a great, friendly and exciting atmosphere that you can't find in many other places around Warrington. Look out for the live music nights!
Shout out to Becca for the amazing bar service and drink recommendations.
I went here last Tuesday and the food is lovely, had a few drinks as well and brought some of my friends along with me. However i will have to say though, the young strawberry blonde haired chap who came to our table gave us a very cold stare and didnt say anything to us which was a bit of a surprise because the rest of the staff are quite friendly and talkative. Atmosphere was great though.
