About This Pub

Ah, the Swan With Two Necks – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local gem in Stockport, you know? From what I've gathered, it's all about that authentic, old-school atmosphere with its 1920s charm and original features that CAMRA folks rave about. The beers are a real highlight; they're well-kept cask ales that have earned it a solid reputation, and judging by the buzz, it's a favourite for a quick pint or a longer session. The staff come across as genuinely friendly, always up for a natter, and it's super welcoming for dogs and even has a beer garden for those sunny days when you fancy a bit of fresh air. On the flip side, it's a pity they're not dishing out food right now, though they hint at some exciting changes on the way, so that might sort itself out soon. It's a compact space, which adds to the cosy feel but could mean it's a squeeze during peak times, and the hours do wind down a bit early for night owls. Overall, if you're after a straightforward, no-fuss pub experience with great drinks and a community vibe, this one's worth a visit – just keep an eye on those food updates if that's your thing.

Cons
  • They're not serving food at the moment, which is a bit of a shame if you're after a bite with your drink.

A tiny pub in the centre of Stockport that serves Old Tom on draft. It's quirky, the staff are friendly, and the clientele are chatty. Which makes for a great pub experience.
