I had a really disappointing experience at Salt and Crust. My pizza was served with hairs baked into it, which is completely unacceptable. I pointed it out to the staff, and although they agreed to make a new one, there was no sense of urgency or genuine apology. While I waited for a replacement, the other two people in my group finished their meals — so by the time my new pizza arrived, I was eating alone.
What made the situation worse was the attitude of the manager. He was dismissive, unapologetic, and didn’t take any accountability. There was no offer of a refund, no discount, not even a sincere apology — just a cold, indifferent response as if it was no big deal. It felt like customer satisfaction and basic courtesy were completely lacking.
I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but the combination of poor hygiene and bad customer service made this experience worth mentioning. Definitely won’t be returning.
I would give 0 stars if I could. The manager was very rude and needs to learn something called customer service skills.
Absolutely phenomenal food and service from Salt and Crust!
We got some pizzas today and they were the best and tastiest pizzas we have ever had and we are big foodies!
Staff are very friendly and helpful, all tables have a range of bottled sauces which is great and the range and variety of food you can get is amazing.
Highly recommend this family friendly restaurant!
Exceptional food! Only started coming here recently and I've really loved the garlic bread and cheese as it's so nice and garlicky with the wood fired pizza base, it's a solid 10/10! The pollo ala crema chicken breast with a peppercorn and mustard sauce was also very nice. Would give that a solid 9/10!
I do not recommend Delivery "takeaway" because is very mess, it's better to eat inside i guess. The salad I received didn't match what was advertised on the menu, tomato was a not cheery tomato, missing basil leaves just.. pesto. Also, I was surprised to find no vegetarian salad options available, which limited my choices. The driver was not very friendly, I guess he also didn't care how the food was delivered because the sauces inside were open. Hamburgers and fries very tasty, I recommend trying them but on site. Although the price for a burger is exaggerated for delivery.
I've been coming here for years, when it was called Godfather before, but it's still the same amazing place that does a mixture of great food. Food that you want to eat, and food that tastes good. The Pizzas are really good here, and you can't go wrong with anything off the menu. We had the sizzlers, a burger, and some Pizzas. In the past we've had the kebabs, calzone, pasta and starters. All really lovely.
