Ah, RedWillow in Macclesfield, what a gem it is for us lot who fancy a good pint! From what I've gathered from the buzz around, it's all about that excellent range of craft ales and local brews that really hit the spot – think unique flavours that'll have you coming back for more. The vibe is just brilliant, with a natural, community feel that makes it easy to settle in and enjoy the moment, whether you're nipping in for a quick one or making a proper night of it. That outdoor space is a winner on a nice day, giving you room to spread out and chat away, and the service is spot on, with staff who are genuinely friendly and attentive. On the flip side, it's worth noting that they mostly stick to their own brews, so if you're in the mood for something more mainstream, you might feel a tad restricted. Plus, the hours can end a bit early, which is a shame if you're up for lingering into the evening. Overall, though, it's a solid choice for a relaxed get-together – honest, it's got more ups than downs, and I'd say give it a go if you're in the area.

Excellent Venue with a Vibrant Atmosphere
Attended the Sausage and Beer Festival here and was thoroughly impressed. The outdoor area is spacious and particularly enjoyable in good weather. There’s an extensive selection of drinks available, catering to a wide range of preferences. The venue was bustling with energy, featuring live music and a fantastic atmosphere. A well-organized event with plenty of food and beverage options—highly recommended.
Went in for a quick pint and was gutted that I couldn't spend more time there. Excellent choice of real craft ales to pick through. Friendly service. Smart and comfortable. Will definitely come back when time permits
This place is quite unique as they only serve their locally brewed ales and lagers. The ‘Guileless’ lager I had was absolutely lovely (pictured) along with a ‘Spit-Roasted pineapple gin’ and tonic for my wife. Both lovely drinks and a real change from the local cooking lagers and commercial spirits.
However the fact they don’t accept cash is a real let down. I think they should give the customers the decision on how they would like to pay.
Staff behind the bar are very polite and knowledgeable on the drinks they serve.
Really enjoyable visit to RedWillow. Lovely bar with a great selection of beers and ciders on tap, cocktails are good too. Also fabulous food from Savages. I was gutted when they left the picturedrome but so glad they have become the sole food provider here. Brilliant.
