Their friendly demeanor truly enhanced the whole experience.
I opted for the all-day breakfast, and it was simply outstanding. Boasting a generous three of every item, it was a truly satisfying and hearty meal. Each component was cooked to perfection – from the perfectly fried eggs and crispy bacon to the delicious sausages and all the trimmings. The quality of the ingredients really shone through, making every mouthful a pleasure.
If you're looking for fantastic food served with a genuine smile in Spondon, The Malt Shovel is definitely the place to go. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
I went there for food. It didn't disappoint me the chips was proper homemade chips which was very nice. Definitely will be going back. In the near future.

Great atmosphere kid friendly fantastic choices of beers and lagers great outside for kids and families and adults too. Outside bar in the summer what a great pub with great features too.
