About This Pub
Ah, the Kings Arms in Billingham – it's one of those local spots that really pulls you in with its warm, community feel, you know? From what I've gathered chatting about it, the staff are absolute gems; they're quick with a smile and make the place feel like a proper neighbourhood hangout, which is just lovely for a relaxed evening. It's brilliant for sports lovers too, with live events on the telly and a beer garden to enjoy the summer vibes, plus it's super accommodating for families and even your furry four-legged friends. On the flip side, though, it's not all pints and cheers – a few mates have mentioned the food letting things down a bit, with complaints about greasy meals and portions that barely fill a plate, which is a shame when you're paying for a proper feed. Still, with an overall solid reputation, it's worth popping in if you're in the area, but maybe keep your expectations in check for the grub and go for the atmosphere and company instead. All in all, it's a decent choice for a casual meet-up, as long as you're prepared for the occasional off day.

Portion sizes can be a bit skimpy for the price, which might leave you wanting more after your meal.

Food was very disappointing.
Kids' fish was full of grease, kids didnt eat any of it
Portion size way to small
Chips 3.29 for a smalllllllllllll bowl only about 15 chips. Wouldn't fill a toddler, let alone a grown-up.
Gave 1 stars for 1 meal out of 3.
Wouldn't come again in a hurry
First time coming and very very very disappointed......
Absolutely amazing place, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Food is great. Highly recommended visiting the kings arms!
This place is unreal! When I came here last, I got served by Kennedy, her service was amazing, she’s very friendly and helps this place be as good as it is! The food is amazing, and the atmosphere is very friendly also! 10/10 would recommend to a friend!
It was my first time back to Kings' arms since a revamp, but my last experience here was really disappointing, and even after a detailed complaint to Green King themselves who never acted on my concerns at the time regarding an employees bad attitude I was a bit apprehensive.
So today, after a lot of years of distance,we decided to have a fresh start with the kings arms and give it another attempt.
We only had a few drinks as they were really expensive. I had a pint of madri on draft, which was £5.80 very nice i have to admit, and my sister in law had a pint of John smiths, which was £4.85 . My better half had a bottle off prosseco, which was £24 pounds ,outrageous. We sat at table 201, which I would recommend if sunny .
I must stress that we did not order any food today, so experience only. I'm just really glad sunny weather was free 🌞.
Me and my friend came for a night out ordered the hunters chicken as well as nachos alongside a few drinks and everything was lovely. Bar staff extremely lovely. Really happy with our stay :)
