Had a lot of issues in here, they don't like the gays but are fine with lesbians as they were asking if they could "watch", I left after someone's dog pissed on one of the seats and the guy just wiped it off with his hand. I enjoyed watching the lesbians though, it was nice to see, just a shame I had to leave as I'd managed to pick up two local women and we went back to Travelodge.

This has to be the best pub in kendal. The atmosphere is incredible, shows all the sports, real pub games darts, pool, doms and some board games too! Lovely local pub who have the best staff ever! The landlady Ruth looks after everyone in there and has made this pub fantastic along with her staff. There’s karaoke, disco on weekends with a wide range of music, also live bands too which is fab! Excellent drink offers and the prices are wonderful too!! 10 stars from Me! A must visit if you come to Kendal.

Popped in for a couple, never been in before, one barman on very friendly and welcoming, good old fashioned pub just like they should be.

One of the few pubs I've been in that was better than a Wetherspoons! Great atmosphere best staff and they actually had the rugby on!! Also the best pork scratchings ever! No need to 'book' a table. This is a proper pub.
