Charlies bar in South Shields

You know, I was having a look at Charlies bar over in the Denmark Centre, and it's got me thinking it could be a cracking little spot for a relaxed evening. The feedback we've got is all top-notch, with everyone giving it full marks, which suggests the atmosphere and drinks are spot on if you're after something straightforward and enjoyable. It's in a convenient part of South Shields, so if you're out and about, it might just be the perfect pitstop for a chat and a bevvy. On the flip side, though, there's not a lot of info floating around – no website to check the menu or events, and it looks like it might not be open at the moment, which is a shame. Plus, with just a few comments out there, it's tough to know if it's consistently brilliant or if we're missing some of the finer details. All in all, if you're in the mood for a punt and can confirm it's up and running, I'd say give it a go, but maybe have a backup plan just in case – you don't want to trek out for nothing!
