About This Pub
Ah, Chapel House in Denton is one of those unpretentious pubs that just feels like a second living room, you know? It's got that warm, welcoming atmosphere where the staff are dead chuffed to see you and go out of their way to make your visit enjoyable – think big smiles and chats over a pint. The entertainment's spot on too, with massive screens perfect for watching the match, and it's all at prices that won't break the bank, which is a real winner for a casual get-together. On the downside, though, I've heard from a few mates that service can drag when it's heaving, and there was that buzz about prices creeping up after a change in hands, plus some niggles with how things are run, like not accommodating for games nights. Still, it's got a solid feel to it overall, and if you're local or passing through Manchester, it's worth popping in for a proper pub experience – just maybe plan for a quieter time to avoid any hitches!
Pros and Cons

The staff are incredibly friendly and always up for a chat, like Vanessa who's known for her welcoming smile.
-
It's a proper neighbourhood spot with fantastic entertainment and massive screens for catching the footy or other sports.
-
Drinks are nicely priced and affordable, making it a great choice for a relaxed, inexpensive night out.
-
The customer service is spot on, with folks striving to make everyone feel at home and providing exemplary vibes.
Cons
-
Service can be a tad slow at times, especially when things get busy, which might leave you waiting a bit too long for that pint.
-
There have been some grumbles about recent price increases, even if the beers taste the same, making it feel a bit steeper than before.
-
Management decisions, like not sorting out the pool table during events, have caused a few frustrations for regulars.
-
It seems the place has hit a rough patch since some staff changes, with a couple of visitors noting it's not quite as sharp as it used to be.

Just love calling in for a couple of pints, Vanessa behind the bar always has a smile.
These guys always strive to be the best they can be
Very friendly neighbourhood boozer. Fantastic entertainment and customer service has always been exemplary.
Since Kirsten left this pub is a joke. We have a darts team here and the owner refuses to cover the pool table despite there being 20 plus people playing darts. He's upped the prices within days of taking over as well. So the same beer. Same taste, same ingredients. The place has literally gone downhill for years...
Great local pub, nice drinks. I’d like to visit more but it’s just slightly too far away from me.
A very nice pub definitely a place to go to for a good drink and a chat. Can be very annoying ordering a drink as the service can be slow at times. Does have massive screens for sport so definitely worth going for football and never had a bad experience with the punters
