About This Pub
Ah, Boom Battle Bar in Birmingham – what a spot for a proper laugh with your mates! From what I've gathered, it's all about that electric energy with loads of games on offer, like axe throwing and karaoke that had folks raving about the good times they had. The staff really shine through, being so welcoming and attentive, which makes the whole experience feel personal and enjoyable, much like how Ellie turned a brunch into a highlight for one group. And let's not forget the cocktails during happy hour – they're a treat and won't empty your wallet. On the downside, though, there have been a few grumbles about not getting the full time for activities if things run over, and it seems like the vibe might vary a bit from one branch to another, so it pays to manage expectations. All in all, it's a brilliant choice for a group outing or date night, as long as you plan ahead and go in with an open mind – you'll likely come away with some cracking stories to share over the next pint!

First time visiting Boom Battle Bar and honestly didn’t know what to expect, but it turned out to be a really good afternoon. We didn't have a booking, but we knew we wanted to try out karaoke. We had such a laugh—loads of song choices, good sound quality, and the room felt really private which made it even more fun. The team welcomed us straight away and were super helpful getting everything set up. Drinks were really nice and the whole vibe of the place was chilled but upbeat. Will definitely be booking again soon!
First time going here! Had so much fun, we got there and it was quiet but the playlist is so good. We did axe throwing, pool and crazy golf, will be coming back!! The cocktails were so good. Jacob was such a sweetheart, made a friend
Had a really good time last year in the Bath Boom Battle Bar so decided to come to Birmingham this year expecting a similar experience. Started with a 30 min axe throwing which was fine although we didn’t get the full time as the group before us was late coming of the activity and the staff did nothing to rectify the situation. We also did the crazy golf where 4 of the 9 holes were broken, when I spoke to the staff to let them know we were unhappy with that they told us ‘yeah we had a rowdy group in in the weekend we’ll work on getting them fixed’ but offered no compensation for our sub par experience. Consistently struggled to find staff to take us to our next activity and they didn’t seem to know what we had booked. Finished the night by playing pool where all the pool cues were duck taped together because they were also broken.
Had a great time here last night. Started off with 30min axe throwing. Which in my personal opinion was long enough. Denzy was a great host. Gave us nicknames for our second round, one of which was Pat Butcher 😂 Great sense of humour!! Atmosphere was great! Our server Ellie was lovely when we sat for bottomless brunch. She kept coming to check if we needed drinks and of course that was a yes every time. Food was nice and came hot. It is very loud music and we were seated right under a speaker so you feel like you’re shouting at each other and difficult to hear but great songs though. Overall experience, was great.
